From the underside of the lid check that it slides easily,
pressing the valve indicator with a rod as far as it will go

(see CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section A).

easily, this is correct (Fig. 2)
.
FILLING YOUR PRESSURE COOKER:
- For safety reasons, the Pressure Cooker can only be
filled to a maximum of 2/3 of its capacity.
- If you are cooking food which tends to swell or produce
foam (such as chickpeas, lentils, leeks, pasta, rice or

obstructing the safety valves mentioned above.
- The minimum amount of liquid in the Pressure Cooker
should be 1/4 litre.
ADVANTAGES OF

which alter this safety).
FASTER

maintaining all the vitamins and flavours of the food.
ENERGY SAVING
The cooking is done more quickly thereby economising any
kind of energy used in the kichen.
5 SAFETY SYSTEMS
This Pressure Cooker has five safety systems:
1 and 2 High security opening and closing device function:
This is a mechanism situated in the “body long handle”
which stops the Pressure Cooker being opened if there is
pressure inside it, however little, in which case the
“Pressure Detector” will be visible and THE LID CANNOT
BE OPENED (Fig. N).
On the other hand, if there is no pressure, the “Pressure
Detector” will be hidden in the hole in the handle (Fig. J). In this
case the Pressure Cooker may be opened, by pushing the
blue push button forwards. If the Pressure Cooker has not
been closed properly this device will not allow it to come to
