4 Cleaning
Clean the handset and the base (or charger) with a moist cloth or anti-static wipe.
Note: Never use cleaning products. They may damage the telephone. Never use a dry

5 Environment
• Do not expose to direct sunlight.
The handset may become hot when the battery is on charge or during prolonged use.
This is perfectly normal. However, to avoid any form of damage, it is wise to not place
the device on veneered or aged wood.
• Do not stand your product on carpets or other surfaces which generate fibres, or place
it in locations preventing the free flow of air over its surfaces.
Do not submerge any part of your product in water and do not use it in damp or humid
conditions, such as bathrooms.
• Do not expose your product to fire, explosive or other hazardous conditions.
• Your telephone may be damaged during a storm. It is wise to unplug the power supply
and telephone cable during a storm.
6 Product disposal instructions
This logo indicates that this is electrical or electronic equipment containing hazardous
substances that may have an effect on the environment and human health.
These products should therefore be treated as waste under EU Directive 2012/19/EU, of
January 27, 2003, on electrical and electronic equipment waste. They should not be disposed of
with unsorted household waste and instead should be returned to a waste disposal company or
disposed of through a community collection or recovery program.
