I'm trying to connect my LG OLED to a surround sound system via a SONY receiver. I can't get any ound out of the speakers from the TV, but the internal tuner in the receiver is providing sound through the speakers, so I know the speakers are wired correctly. The receiver manual suggests I connect its Monitor In terminal to the TV's HDMI Out terminal, however I can't see any HDMI Out terminal on the TV. Have I got this confused? I've also tried the HDMI ACP In port on the TV into the TV Out port on the receiver. I also have an optical/digital line connecting the two devices. Nothing works! Any advice that can make these two devices work with eachother??
