Point the remote control towards the signal
receiver at the bottom of the air conditioner to
operate it.
Operating method
NOTE
!
• The remote control may operate other
electronic devices if pointed towards
them. Make sure to point the remote
control towards the signal receiver of
the air conditioner.
• For proper operation, use a soft cloth to
clean the signal transmitter and receiver.
•
If you cover the transmitter of remote con-
trol, it may result in improper operation.
Charging battery
1 Plug the power cord into the wall socket
and the cable into the cradle.
2 Put the remote control on the cradle.
(Match the metal terminals between re-
mote control and cradle.)

NOTE
!
• The battery must be fully charged ini-
tially to improve battery lifetime.
• When the battery is short, display
screen shows a description of charging
the battery. (Cannot control any buttons
or icons) Charge the battery.
• Display screen shows time if it is turned
on while charging.
• The brightness of display screen be-
comes dark while charging.
• When the remote control is not used
for a long time, charge the battery with
remote control turned off to improve
battery lifetime.
