Het doel van deactivering is het toestaan van deactivering van toestellen voor gebruikers die alle beschikbare
toestellen geactiveerd hebben via de webserver en waarvan het activeren van meer toestellen geblokkeerd is. DivX
VOD zorgt dat de klant toestemming heeft tot het activeren van maximaal 6 toestellen in één account, maar om
een van die toestellen te vervangen of te deactiveren, moet de klant contact opnemen met de DivX
Ondersteuning en een verzoek indienen voor verwijdering. Met deze extra functie kunnen klanten het toestel zelf
deactiveren en derhalve hun DivX VOD toestellen beter beheren.
