Plaatsen van bandenspanningssensoren en -zenders

Bij het vervangen van banden of velgen moeten de bandenspannings-

sensoren en -zenders ook worden gemonteerd.

Als er nieuwe bandenspanningssensoren en -zenders gemonteerd wor-

den, moeten de ID-codes van deze componenten worden geregistreerd

in de ECU van het bandenspanningswaarschuwingssysteem en moet het

Auto's met een volwaardig reservewiel

Wissel de banden zoals aange-

geven in de afbeelding.

Lexus beveelt aan om de ban-

den met de volgende intervallen

van plaats te wisselen om een

gelijkmatig slijtagepatroon en

een langere levensduur van de

banden te verkrijgen:

2WD-uitvoeringen:

Elke 10.000 km

AWD-uitvoer ingen:

Elke de 5.000 km

■ Waarschuwingssysteem bandenspanning (indien aanwezig)

Uw Lexus is uitgerust met een waarschuwingssysteem voor lage

bandenspanning dat gebruikt maakt van bandenspanningssensoren

die de bandenspanning meten en van zenders om een lage banden-

spanning te signaleren voordat deze lage spanning tot problemen

leidt. (→Blz. 556)
