Voordat u gaat rijden

■ Regeneratief remmen
In de volgende situaties wordt kinetische energie omgezet in elektrische energie en
wordt er een afremmingskracht gegenereerd terwijl tegelijkertijd het batterijpakket
(tractiebatterij) wordt opgeladen.
● Het gaspedaal is losgelaten.
● Het rempedaal is ingetrapt als de selectiehendel in stand D of S staat.
■ Bij stilstand/tijdens wegrijden
De benzinemotor wordt uitgeschakeld als de auto tot stilstand komt.
Bij het wegrijden wordt de auto aangedreven door de elektromotor
(tractiemotor). Bij lage snelheden, of bij het afrijden van een flauwe
helling, wordt de benzinemotor uitgeschakeld en de elektromotor
gebruikt.
■ Tijdens normaal rijden
De auto wordt voornamelijk aangedreven door de benzinemotor.
De elektromotor (tractiemotor) laadt indien nodig het batterijpak-
ket op.
■ Tijdens sterk accelereren
De energie van het batterijpakket (tractiebatterij) wordt toege-
voegd aan de energie die de benzinemotor levert via de elektromo-
tor (tractiemotor).
■ Tijdens het remmen (regeneratief remmen)
De elektromotor (tractiemotor) laadt het batterijpakket (tractiebat-
terij) op.
