3 - INSTALLATION
1 - Vorrüstung des Gebläses
Das Gerät ist mit doppeltem Lufteingang
versehen (unten oder hinten), welcher mit
Bezug auf der Installation gewählt werden
kann.
a - Unterer Lufteingang (Abb. 1)
Flansch in die untere Öffnung einführen
und Stahlverschluß mit den zwei mitge-
lieferten Schrauben in der hinteren
Öffnung befestigen.
b - Hinterer Lufteingang (Abb. 2)
Flansch in die hintere Öffnung einführen
und Stahlverschluß mit den zwei mitge-
lieferten Schrauben in der unteren
Öffnung befestigen.
c - Nach Befestigung von Verschluß und
Flansch sind die zwei Metallbügel mit
den vier beiliegenden Schrauben (Abb. 3)
auf den Rahmen zu montieren.
2 - Montage des Gebläses
a - Die Mittelpunkte der Bügellöcher sind
auf der Wand anzuzeichnen.
b - Die markierten Stellen mit einem
Bohrer Ø 8 mm vorbohren.
c - Die Dübel in die Bohrungen einfügen
und das Gebläse mit den vier beiliegenden
Schrauben befestigen (Abb. 4).
3 - Anschluß der Rohrleitungen
Gebläse mittels Rohren Ø 150 mm an
die Dunstabaugshaube und an den
externen Luftausgang mit Flachkanälen
von 90 x 220 mm anschließen (Abb. 5).
4 - Stromanschluß
Netzkabel mit dem Schaltpult der
Dunstabzugshaube verbinden und Motor
auf seine Funktionstüchtigkeit überprüfen.
Wird das Gerät niedriger als 2,3 Meter
über dem Fußboden installiert, ist es
unerläßlich, daß im Bereich des Luftein-
und austrittes Verbindungsrohre oder
Schutzgitter (nicht mitgeliefert)
installiert werden.
4 - REINIGUNG
Das Gebläse extern und intern unter
Verwendung eines feuchten Tuches oder
eines neutralen Reinigungsmittel säubern.
1 - GENERAL
INFORMATION
This appliance to be installed inside the
home is set up for connection to a cook-
er hood fitted over a cooker unit.
Installation must be carried out by
qualified staff, following all the rules
concerning the extraction of contami-
nated air.
The manufacturer declines all respon-
sibility for damage due to incorrect
installation.
2 - SAFETY WARNINGS
1 - The remote blower ducting must not
be connected to a flue which is used
for exhausting fumes from appliances
supplied with energy other than elec-
tric such as a central heating flue or
water heating flue.
2 - Before connecting to the mains supply
ensure that the mains voltage corre-
sponds with the voltage on the rating
plate inside the appliance.
3 - This appliance must be earthed.
4 - Once having carried out the electrical
connection, the aspirator has to be con-
nected to the mains through a double
pole switch with 3mm clearance between
the contacts.
5 - Before carrying out any kind of clean-
ing or maintenance, disconnect the
appliance from the mains supply.
6 - If the room where the appliance is to
be used contains a fuel burning appli-
ance such as a central heating boiler
then this must be of the room sealed
or balanced flue type. If other types of
flue or appliance are fitted ensure that
there is an adequate supply of air into
the room. When the appliance is used
in conjunction with other appliances
supplied with energy other than elec-
tricity, the negative pressure in the
room must not exceed 0,04 mbar to
prevent fumes been drawn back into the
room.

3 - INSTALLATION
1 - Preparing the remote blower
The unit has two air inlets (at the bottom
or on the back side) to be selected ac-
cording to the type of installation desired.
a - Bottom inlet (fig. 1)
Insert the flange into the bottom hole and
fix the steel cover into the rear hole us-
ing the two screws provided.
b - Rear inlet (fig. 2)
Insert the flange into the rear hole and
fix the steel cover into the bottom hole
using the two screws provided.
c - After having fixed the cover and the
flange, the two metal brackets must be
fitted to the hood body, using the four
screws provided (fig. 3).
2 - Installation of the remote blower
a - Mark the centres of the bracket holes
on the wall.
b - Drill the wall using a Ø 8mm drill bit.
c - Insert the plugs and fix the remote
blower using the four screws provided
(fig. 4).
3 - Connecting up pipes
Connect the remote blower to the hood
using Ø 150mm pipes and to the external
air outlet using 90 x 220mm rectangular
ducts (fig. 5).
4 - Electrical connections
Connect the mains cable to the hood
controls and check that the motor oper-
ates correctly.
If the unit is installed at a height of less
than 2.3 meters from floor level, connec-
tion pipes or alternatively protective
grids (not supplied) must be installed
onto the air inlet and outlet areas.
4 - CLEANING
Internal and external cleaning of the re-
mote blower must be performed using a
damp cloth and neutral liquid detergent.
Avoid the use of abrasive substances.
