Connection to the power supply system
! Important information
• The appliance is equipped with a power cord whose
plug may only be connected to a properly installed
and grounded power outlet.
• The mains voltage indicated on the rating plate
must correspond to that of your home.
• A socket may only be installed by a qualied electri-
cian in accordance with the applicable regulations.
• If the plug is no longer accessible after installation,
an all-pole disconnector with a contact gap of
at least 3 mm must be installed.
• Do not trap or bend the power cable.
• Contact protection must be guaranteed by the
installation.
• Do not use adapters, multiple sockets or
extension cables.
Overloading can lead to a re hazard.
• The cable supplied is short to reduce the risks of
possible trapping or tripping over a longer cable.
If a long cable or an extension cable is used,
the following must be observed:
• The marked electrical power of the cable set or
extension cable should be at least as high as
the electrical power of the appliance.
• The extension cable must be a 3-wire cable with
grounding.
• The long cable should not be laid over a worktop
or table top and should be routed in such a way
that children cannot pull on it or someone could
trip over it.
• The power cord must only be replaced
by a qualied electrician to prevent hazards.
