Barbecuesaus
Ingrediënten
1 eetlepel olijfolie
1 rode ui, fijngehakt
4 teentjes knoflook, geschild en geperst
Blik gehakte tomaten van 400g
3 eetlepels maltazijn
75g bruine suiker
2 eetlepels Worcestersaus
2 eetlepels tomatenpuree
1 theelepel gerookt paprikapoeder
Bereiding
1. Warm de olie op en bak de ui en knoflook op een middelhoog vuur gedurende 4-5
minuten tot hij zacht is.
2. Voeg de resterende ingrediënten toe en breng ze al roerend aan de kook.
Verminder het vuur en laat 25-30 minuten sudderen.
3. Laat lichtjes afkoelen en pureer dan met een staafmixer of in een keukenrobot tot de
saus glad is.
4. Heerlijk bij burgers.
Tip
Bewaar ongebruikte barbecuesaus in de koelkast. Ze kan ook als heerlijke marinade dienen
voor ribbetjes en kip.
Tomatensalsa
Ingrediënten
6 tomaten
1 rode ui, fijngehakt
2 teentjes knoflook, geschild en geperst
2 eetlepels verse koriander, fijngehakt
2 eetlepels verse peterselie, fijngehakt
1 theelepel witte wijnazijn
Snufje suiker
Bereiding
1. Hak de tomaten in kleine blokjes en doe ze in een kom.
2. Voeg de resterende ingrediënten toe en meng. Kruiden naar eigen smaak.
3. Serveer bij zelfgemaakte burgers.
Tip
Tomatensalsa kan worden ingepakt en tot 2 dagen in de koelkast bewaard.
