EMISSIEREGELSYSTEEM (INDIEN VAN TOEPASSING)
Op het emissieregelsysteem van uw auto
is een aangepaste garantieregeling van
toepassing. Raadpleeg de garantie-
informatie in het boekje Garantie &
Onderhoud voor meer informatie.
Uw auto is uitgerust met een
emissieregelsysteem om aan alle
emissienorm te voldoen.
Er zijn drie emissieregelsystemen,
namelijk:
(1) Carterventilatiesysteem
(2) Brandstofdampafzuigsysteem
(3) Emissieregelsysteem
Om de goede werking van de
emissieregelsystemen te garanderen, is
het aan te raden uw auto door een
officiële KIA-dealer te laten controleren
en onderhouden volgens het
onderhoudsschema in dit boekje.
Opmerking bij controle en onderhoud
(met ESP)
• Om overslaan van de motor tijdens
het testen op een rollenbank te
voorkomen, moet het ESP-systeem
worden uitgeschakeld door de ESP-
schakelaar in te drukken.
• Schakel na de rollenbanktest het
ESP-systeem weer in door
nogmaals op de ESP-schakelaar te
drukken.
1. Carterventilatiesysteem
Het carterventilatiesysteem voorkomt dat
lekgassen uit het carter in de atmosfeer
terechtkomen. Bij dit systeem wordt
schone, gefilterde lucht via de
luchtinlaatslang naar het carter gevoerd.
In het carter wordt de lucht vermengd
met de lekgassen en vervolgens via de
PCV-klep naar het luchtinlaatsysteem
gevoerd.
2. Brandstofdampafzuigsysteem
Het brandstofdampafzuigsysteem is
ontworpen om te voorkomen dat
brandstofdampen in de atmosfeer
terechtkomen.
