BRANDSTOFFILTER (DIESEL)

De waterafscheider vangt het water

uit de brandstof op.

Als er zich water in het brandstoffilter

heeft verzameld, gaat het waarschu-

wingslampje branden als het contact

in stand ON wordt gezet.

Laat de auto controleren en

het water aftappen door

een officiële Kia-dealer als

het waarschuwingslampje

gaat branden.

LUCHTFILTER

Filterelement reinigen

Afhankelijk van de toestand moet het

element mogelijk worden gereinigd

of vervangen. Schud het filterele-

ment om de verontreinigingen te ver-

wijderen, tenzij het zeer sterk ver-

vuild is. Veeg de binnenzijde van het

filterhuis en van het filterdeksel met

een vochtige doek schoon wanneer

het filterelement gecontroleerd

wordt. Reinig en vervang het filter-

element vaker dan in het onder-

houdsschema is aangegeven als de

auto wordt gebruikt in gebieden met

zeer veel stof of zand. Blaas het fil-

terelement van binnen naar buiten

door met perslucht.

OPMERKING

Als het water in de afscheider

niet of niet vaak genoeg wordt

afgetapt, kan er schade ont-

staan aan belangrijke onderde-

len, zoals het brandstofsys-

teem, doordat er water in het

brandstoffilter komt.
