3. Press RECORD and PLAY keys to start recording.
4. When nished press the STOP key.
Note:
• During the recording of AM a beating whistle at some stations may be audible. Press the BEAT
CUT 1-2 button to reduce this background noise.
C. Recording from CD
1. Set the unit into CD mode by pressing the CD button.
2. Insert a blank cassette tape into deck 1.
3. Press PAUSE key rst and then the RECORD and PLAY keys. The recording function is now on
standby.
4. Start playback of the CD and press the PAUSE key at the cassette deck to start the recording.
5. To stop the recording press the STOP button on the CD player rst and then the STOP key on
the cassette deck.
D. Recording from turntable
1. Set the unit into phono mode by pressing the PHONO button.
2. Insert a blank cassette tape into deck 1.
3. Press PAUSE key rst and then the RECORD and PLAY keys. The recording function is now on
standby.
4. Start playback of the turntable and press the PAUSE key at the cassette deck to start the record-
ing.
5. To stop the recording stop the turntable rst and then press the STOP key on the cassette deck.
