U moet zeer voorzichtig zijn als u de filterhouder (G) afneemt want de metalen delen kunnen nog zeer
warm zijn. Om de filterhouder te ontgrendelen, deze naar links draaien.
BEREIDING VAN EEN CAPPUCCINO
Met dit toestel is het ook mogelijk melk te doen schuimen voor een cappuccino, een warme chocolade
of een andere warme drank te bereiden.
OPGELET: Zorg ervoor alvorens de functie cappuccino te gebruiken, dat de filterhouder
ontgrendeld is.
Om een schuimmelk te krijgen, is het noodzakelijk eerst de resten van water in de circuit van het
toestel te verwijderen.
1. Druk op de Aan/Uit schakelaar (M), het controlelampje (P) zal branden. Druk dan op de

(Q) zal branden.
2. Om de circuit te reinigen, plaats een kom onder de stoom/water buis (D) (Beeld 4) en draai de
controleknop van de stoom (H) van links naar rechts (1/4 tot ½ rond zijn nodig). Na een paar

zal doven zal het toestel klaar zijn om stoom te produceren. Tijdens deze bereidingsfase kan een
beetje stoom of een paar waterdruppels van de filterhouder en de stoombuis komen. Opgepast
voor brandwonden!
3. Dompel de stoombuis (D) in de kom met de melk en draai opnieuw de controleknop van de
stoom (H) om de stoom te laten ontsnappen (Beeld 5).
4. Een paar seconden zijn nodig om de melk te doen schuimen die u nadien op de espresso zal
gieten om een echte Italiaanse cappuccino te verkrijgen.
Opgelet: de stoom/water buis (D) mag de bodem van de kom niet aanraken want dat zou de
stoom blokkeren.
Maak de stoombuis (D) schoon na elk gebruik, ook als deze in melk was ondergedompeld, anders
kunnen de resten van melk de buis verstoppen. Het kunststof gedeelte van de buis mag worden
afgenomen voor reiniging (Beeld 6). In geval van verstopping van de buis, gebruik u een naald om de
resten van de melk te verwijderen. Onmiddellijk na de melk te hebben geschuimd droog u eerst de
buis af met behulp van een vochtige doek en houdt u het doek tegen de opening van de stoom en
opent langzaam de controleknop van de stoom (H); laat de stoom ontsnappen tijdens 1 of 2 seconden
om de resten van de melk te laten ontsnappen, pas dan sluit u de knop terug (H).
OPGELET: WEES VOORZICHTIG U NIET TE VERBRANDEN AAN DE STOOM EN DE
METALEN DELEN VAN DE BUIS (DIT KAN WARM ZIJN).
Van een cappuccino naar een espresso terugkomen

controlelampje (O) zal stoppen met knipperen en het toestel laten afkoelen. Zet een bakje onder de
buis en druk op de espresso-schakelaar (L) en draai tegelijkertijd de controleknop van de stoom (H)
om het water door de stoombuis (D) te laten ontsnappen totdat het controlelampje espresso (Q)
opnieuw brandt. Sluit de controleknop van de stoom (H) en druk opnieuw op de espresso schakelaar
(L) en wacht totdat het espresso-controlelampje (Q) dooft alvorens de procedure terug te beginnen om

