INGEBRUIKNEMING
Haal het verwarmingselement eruit en leg de lekbak op de bodem van het apparaat. Let
er op dat u zich niet verbrand als u het verwarmingselement optilt.
Vul de lekbak tussen de minimum en maximummarkering met water.
Ler er op dat er altijd water in de bak zit. Dit vermindert de rookvorming en voorkomt dat
het apparaat oververhit raakt. Vul het tijdens het gebruik regelmatig bij.
Het apparaat mag nooit zonder water gebruikt worden (gevaar voor oververhitting!)
Giet nooit water op het verwarmingselement of het bedieningsonderdeel!
Vergeet nooit om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken als u water bijvult.
Indien nodig kunt u het windscherm met het aflegrooster (optioneel) installeren door de
stiften in de daarvoor bestemde openingen in de behuizing van de barbecue te steken.
Doe de stekker in het stopcontact. Zet het apparaat aan door de thermostaatregelaar
met de wijzers van de klok mee op de maximale stand te zetten.
Verwarm de met water gevulde barbecue voor het eerste gebruik gedurende ca. 5
minuten zonder iets te grillen zodat de eigen reuk vermindert (lichte rookontwikkeling
mogelijk, dus voor voldoende ventilatie zorgen).
Voor het barbecuen moet het grilrooster licht met olie ingesmeerd worden, zo kan het te
grillen product er beter afgehaald worden om het te draaien.
Voordat u het te grillen product op het rooster legt, verwarmt u het apparaat ca. 5
minuten op vol vermogen.
De griltijd is verschillend en is afhankelijk van het soort en geaardheid van het
desbetreffende te grillen product.
Gebruik het apparaat altijd met de bijgevoegde reflectorschotel.
Thermostaat: door de traploos instelbare thermostaatregelaar kan de gewenste
griltemperatuur ingesteld worden van „min“ tot „max“ en wordt dan automatisch
constant gehouden.
Controlelampje: zodra het apparaat is aangesloten, gaat het controlelampje branden.
Zet het apparaat na gebruik uit (thermostaatregelaar tegen de wijzers van de klok op de
stand minimum draaien) en trek de stekker er uit.
PRAKTISCHE AANWIJZINGEN
Diepgevroren producten voor het grillen ontdooien.
Bij grotere hoeveelheden te grillen producten raden wij aan om het vet dat in de lekbak is
gevallen van tijd tot tijd voorzichtig te verwijderen. Daarvoor gaat u als volgt te werk:
- Zet de AAN/UIT-schakelaar op de stand „min“ en trek de stekker er uit.
- Verwijder het rooster met de te grillen producten.
Tel het verwarmingselement en het bedieningselement voorzichtig op.
- Verwijder het in de lekbak verzamelde vet.
- Om het geheel weer te installeren, gaat u in omgekeerde volgorde te werk.
