Voor je begint:
Breek de kaartjes voorzichtig uit de frames.
Schud de kaartjes en leg ze met de plaatjes naar
beneden op tafel, in rijtjes naast elkaar (bijv. 8 bij 6).
Doel van het spel:
Het doel van het spel is om zo veel mogelijk paren te
verzamelen.
Een paar bestaat uit twee kaartjes die bij elkaar horen.
Op het ene kaartje staat een plaatje, op het andere
het woord dat het plaatje beschrijft en de beginletter,
bijvoorbeeld:
Je kunt ook zien dat de kaartjes bij elkaar horen door
de gekleurde blokjes, streepjes of rondjes aan de
zijkant. Als je het kaartje met het plaatje van de aap
links legt en het plaatje met de letter en het woord
rechts, dan passen de blokjes in kleur en vorm aan
elkaar:
Zo gaat het spel:
De jongste begint en draait een kaartje naar keuze
om. Daarna nog eentje. Als de kaartjes bij elkaar
horen, dan pakt de speler ze en legt ze voor zich
neer. Nu mag dezelfde speler nog eens proberen
een paar te vinden door weer twee kaartjes om te
draaien. De beurt van deze speler is voorbij als er
twee kaartjes omgedraaid worden die niet bij elkaar
horen. Dan worden de openliggende kaartjes weer
teruggedraaid met de plaatjes naar beneden. Nu is de
volgende speler aan de beurt. Zo gaat het spel verder,
tot er geen kaartjes meer op tafel liggen. De speler
die de meeste paren heeft verzameld, wint.
Educatieve waarde:
Mijn eerste Van Dale Memo is niet alleen leuk om
te spelen, het traint ook de woordenschat, het
geheugen, het alfabet en het ruimtelijk inzicht van
kinderen. Spelenderwijs leren ze kleuren en vormen
herkennen, maar ook letters en woorden. Alle letters
van het alfabet komen aan bod (behalve de weinig
voorkomende q en x).
