WARNING:
The surface of the steam outlets can be very hot during
and after use. Great care must be taken with these parts as they can
cause severe burns.
-Never touch the steam outlet when the appliance is in operation as
you can be scalded.
-Never use this appliance at the slightest indication of damage or
danger of having been submerged in any kind of liquid.
-On finishing ironing, unplug the appliance from the mains electri-
city supply and empty the water tank.
-This appliance gives off steam which can cause burns. Never aim
the steam jet at animals or persons, and never iron clothes whilst they
are being worn.
-Never use this appliance to clean or de-grease ovens, micro-waves
or any other type of household appliance.
-Never shake the appliance when it is operation as it can cause
splashes.
-Never leave the appliance unattended when in operation.
-Let the appliance cool down before changing any accessory, when
refilling, or when emptying the water from the tank.
-Never pour detergents or chemical products into the water tank as
this can damage the appliance.
-In the event of the steam outlet holes becoming blocked, please do
not use the appliance and unplug it from the mains electricity supply.
CAUTION:
This appliance emits steam to high temperatu-
res.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
-If you note that steam does not come out when you pressing the but-
ton using the device for the first time – is because the interior tubes of
the device are filled with air. To make the device operating it is neces-
sary to purge the circuit - fill the water tank at maximum and press the
steam button repeatedly until steam comes out.
-Fill the tank with water using the filling cup provided. To do this pull
back the tank lid, pour water inside and replace the lid on the tank by
pressing down gently on the same.
-Connect the appliance to the mains electricity supply using the plug
and the pilot light will immediately light up indicating that the applian-
ce is heating up the water to make steam.
-When the pilot light goes off, this means that the appliance is ready
to start to give off steam. The steam button can now be pressed to
obtain continuous steam and you can start to iron.
-Pick up the appliance by the handle and aim it at a heat resistant
surface, but never towards yourself or other people.
-To iron garments move the appliance nozzle upwards and down-
wards on the garment until obtaining the desired finish.
-To eliminate fluff or pet’s hair, attach the fluff accessory and use the
appliance in the same way.
-The upholstery accessory should only be used for using the applian-
ce on upholstery.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
-Before cleaning the appliance, make sure it has been disconnected
from the mains.
-Leave the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.
-Do not use abrasive detergents or products that may damage the
appliance.
-Empty any water that may be left inside the appliance. For this,
unscrew the water tank cap and tilt the appliance until it is completely
empty.
-Use a damp cloth or sponge to clean both the inside and the outsi-
de of the appliance.
-To clean the accessories, submerge the same in soapy water and
