2.2 Clearance from glass

non-combustible glass.
350mm minimum clearance is required from
toughened glass.
2.3 Clearance from combustible surfaces
(eg timber joist & concrete)
Clearances may be reduced with the application of
heat shielding to walls in accordance to the
Australian Building Code.

IMPORTANT:
Frames must also be considered. Timber window
frames must be treated as combustible surfaces
(see 2.3). Aluminium frames can be treated as
non-combustible surfaces (see 2.2).

  • I have exactly the same question re the dial on the side of the fire box as the previous post. The vent behind the door is the damper and adjusts the airflow into the fire box. What’s the dial do?? It has quite an elaborate mechanism behind it, with 4 obvious settings Submitted on 1-7-2022 at 12:47

  • There is a dial on the side of the invicta tennessee wood burner. What is it’s function?
    Also a vent above the fire box which can only be seen when door is open
    The manual only says what to burn not how to use stove to it’s optimum. Is there another manual that actually is helpful???? Submitted on 29-12-2019 at 16:38
