START / STOP: Wanneer alle gegevens ingevoerd zijn, kunt u op de
START knop drukken. Let op: Wanneer u te lang doet met gegevens
invoeren, of te lang wacht om te beginnen met trainen, zal de
computer zichzelf automatisch uitschakelen. U kunt de schermen laten
stoppen door op de STOP knop te drukken.
WEERGEGEVEN WAARDEN:
WATTS: Geeft het aantal WATTS aan wat geproduceerd wordt en
wordt elke 10 seconden ge-update.
TIME: Geeft de trainingstijd weer tot een maximum van 99:59 of telt
af naar de 00:00 vanaf de vooraf ingestelde tijd.
SPEED: Geeft de snelheid weer in mijlen per uur en wordt elke 10
seconden ge-update.
DISTANCE: Geeft de afstand weer in mijlen.
K/ CALORIES: Deze geeft de waarde ‘ werk verricht’ gedurende de
training weer. Dit is niet hetzelfde als het aantal calorieën wat tijdens
de training wordt verbrand. De waarde ervan wordt bepaald aan de
hand van de weerstand, snelheid en tijd (alle functies gerelateerd aan
de krachtsinspanning). Er wordt gestart met tellen zodra u begint met
trainen. Het menselijk lichaam is net als de meeste machines 1/3
efficiënt. De energie dat verbruikt wordt is ongeveer 1/3
e
van de
energie dat geconsumeerd wordt. Dus wanneer u de hoeveelheid
verbrande calorieën wilt weten, kunt u de waarde van de k/calories
vermenigvuldigen met 3.
U kunt de k/calories functie gebruiken om uw verschillende trainingen
met elkaar te vergelijken. Wanneer u vandaag een goede prestatie
heeft geleverd, kunt u de k/calories waarde vergelijken met die van
morgen.
HEART RATE: Geeft de hartslag weer in slagen per minuut (BPM).
RESISTANCE LEVEL: Geeft 5 seconden lang de weerstand weer,
alleen wanneer deze verandert. De weerstand varieert van L1 t/m L16.
