INTRODUCTION

The HYUNDAI wafe maker for tastefull wafes. Please read

the manual carefully to understand how to use the wafe

maker.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

• Only use the appliance in the way indicated in these instruntions.

• Never use this unit near bathtub, shower, wash-hand basins or other

containers with water.

• Never use this apparatus with the wet hands.

• If, unfortunately the apparatus is wet, immediately withdraw the cord

of the socket-outlet.

• The appliance must be used only for its intended purpose. No

responsibility can be taken for any possible damage caused by

incorrect use or improper handling.

• Children and persons with disabilities are not always aware of the

danger posed by the use of appliances.

• This device can be used by children aged 8 years and older and

adults, with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack

of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision

or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and

understand the hazards involved.

• Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and household or

similar applications

• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any

reason whatsoever.

• Never place it into the dishwasher.

• Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.

FIRST TIME USE

For the rst time use the emission of smoke and smell is

normal. This does not affect the safety of your appliance. Hcard

these.

Wafe maker

Modell: HHA452101

• Pre-heat the wafe maker by setting the temperature control

to the maximum setting.

• It will take approximately 5 to 8 minutes to reach baking

temperature. The green light will remain on until you unplug

your wafe maker. When the green light go off, the wafe

maker is ready for use.

• Set the Wafe Temperature Control to your desired setting.

At rst, try a setting in the middle. You may later adjust it

lower or higher according to your preference. A lower setting

produces a lighter colored wafe, while wafes made at a

higher setting are darker and crisper. Different wafe batters

will also cook up differently. Over time, you will nd your

perfect setting for the batter you use.

• Before baking the rst wafes of the day, use a pastry brush

to lightly coat the top and bottom wafe grids with vegetable

oil. A light coating of non-stick cooking spray also works well.

CLEANING THE WAFFLE MAKER

• Always unplug the wafe maker and allow it to cool before

cleaning. There is no need to disassemble the wafe maker

for cleaning. Never immerse the wafe maker in water or

place in dishwasher.

• • Brush away any loose crumbs from the grooves. Wipe grids

clean with a paper towel, absorbing any oil or butter that

might be down in the grooves of the grid. You can also wipe

grids with a damp cloth. Do not use anything abrasive that

can scratch or damage the non-stick coating.

• • Wipe the outside of the wafe maker with a damp cloth only.

Do not clean the outside with any abrasive scouring pad or

steel wool, as this will damage the nish. A little metal polish

suitable for stainless steel may be used occasionally on the

top housing. Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.

• Do not place in the dishwasher.

• • Should any batter become baked onto the grids, pour a

little cooking oil onto the hardened batter. Let sit 5 minutes to

soften batter, then wipe off with a paper towel or soft cloth.
