8.6.3 sloTkasT
De sledes op de slotkast kunnen middels een handwiel handmatig worden voortbewogen en automatisch middels
hendels. Beweeg hendel A naar boven voor een automatische langsbeweging, naar beneden voor een automatische
dwarsbeweging. Wanneer de hendel zich in de middelste positie bevindt, kan de langs- of dwarsbeweging via het
handwiel worden opgeroepen.
Hendel B moet naar beneden worden geduwd om de moer van de leispil te sluiten om draadsnijden mogelijk te
maken.
8.6.4 wisselwielen
De wisselwielen bevinden zich links van de Nortonkast en zijn
afgeschermd door een deksel dat verwijderd kan worden. De
tussenwielen zijn geplaatst op een instelbaar zwenkframe (M). De
wisselwielen zijn vooral van belang bij draadsnijden en voor de
voedingen.
De wielen moeten grondig worden gereinigd, de speling mag niet
meer dan .127 mm bedragen. Smeer de wielen regelmatig met olie of
smeervet.
