UK Jam: The ultimate wireless speaker!

Thank you for purchasing the HMDX jam wireless speaker for smartphones, tablets, notebook computers and other Bluetooth enabled

devices.

Please read these instructions and keep them for easy reference.

Charging the unit

Allow approximately 3 hours for a full charge. The unit can be charged by using the USB to Micro USB cord (included) through a

computer or AC adapter with a USB jack (not included).

Note: The battery will last up to 4 hours when connected wirelessly and up to 12 hours when connected through an Aux-In Audio

Jack.

Listening to your device wirelessly over Bluetooth®

To listen to your music over Bluetooth wireless connection, you need to pair your device with HMDX Jam:

1. Make sure your device has Bluetooth capability.

2. Slide POWER SWITCH to turn on the unit, indicator will begin to ﬂash.

3. Follow the instructions of your device to pair the unit.

4. Pair your device with the unit by selecting HMDX Jam from your Bluetooth listings on your device or selecting YES. If prompted,

enter “0000” as the passcode.

5. Press play on your device and use controls on the unit to adjust desired volume.

Note: Once you have successfully paired your device, you typically will not need to repeat the above steps. Please ensure the unit

source is set to Bluetooth and your device has Bluetooth enabled.

Listening to your device through the Auxiliary Line-In Audio Jack

1. Connect Aux-in cable to the headphone or line-out jack of an audio device and plug the other end of the cable into the Line-In

Audio Jack on the back of the unit.

2. Slide the POWER SWITCH to turn on the unit.

3. Press PLAY on the device and use controls on the unit to adjust desired volume.

Instructions to remove battery

Tools required: small crosshead screwdriver, pair of cutters

The built in rechargeable battery in your Jam product contains substances that may pollute the environment. Therefore always

remove the battery before you discard the product. Dispose of the battery at an ocial collection point for batteries.

Only remove the rechargeable battery at the end of the products life and make sure the battery is fully discharged before removing it.

1. Remove the rubber ring from the base of the product.

2. Undo the 4 screws, to separate the bottom panel.

Battery Directive

This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of in the domestic waste as they contain substances which can be

damaging to the environment and health. Please dispose of batteries in designated collection points.

WEEE explanation

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent

Chargement de l’élément

Laisser brancher environ 3 heures pour charger complètement. Il est possible de charger l’élément en branchant le câble USB vers micro

Utilisez votre système d’écoute sans ﬁl via Bluetooth®

Pour écouter votre musique via une connexion sans ﬁl Bluetooth, vous devez appairer votre appareil à une enceinte Jam HMDX :

1. Assurez-vous que votre appareil est compatible Bluetooth.

2. Faites coulisser le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT pour allumer l’élément, l’indicateur se met à clignoter.

3. Suivez les instructions relatives à votre appareil pour l’appairer à l’enceinte.

4. Eectuez l’appairage en sélectionnant Jam HMDX dans la liste Bluetooth de votre appareil. Si vous y êtes invité, saisissez

Instructions pour retirer la batterie

La batterie rechargeable intégrée à votre produit Jam contient des substances susceptibles de polluer l’environnement. Par conséquent,

1. Retirer le joint torique en caoutchouc situé à la base du produit.

Carregar a unidade

Ouvir música com o dispositivo sem-ﬁos com Bluetooth®

Para ouvir a sua música através de ligação Bluetooth sem-ﬁos, é necessário emparelhar o dispositivo com o HMDX Jam:

1. Certiﬁque-se de que o dispositivo é compatível com Bluetooth.

Escuchar su dispositivo en forma inalámbrica con Bluetooth®

Para escuchar su música con una conexión inalámbrica Bluetooth, debe sincronizar su dispositivo con HMDX Jam:

1. Asegúrese de que su dispositivo tenga capacidad Bluetooth.

2. Deslice el INTERRUPTOR para poner en funcionamiento la unidad; el indicador comenzará a destellar.

Drahtlos Musik über Bluetooth® hören

Um Musik über den Bluetooth Drahtlosanschluss anzuhören, müssen Sie Ihr Gerät mit HMDX Jam verbinden:

1. Prüfen Sie, ob Ihr Gerät Bluetooth-fähig ist.

2. Schieben Sie den EIN-/AUS-SCHALTER, um das Gerät einzuschalten, die Anzeige beginnt zu blinken.

3. Befolgen Sie die Anleitung Ihres Geräts, um die Verbindung herzustellen.

4. Verbinden Sie Ihr Gerät mit der Einheit, indem Sie HMDX Jam aus Ihrer Bluetooth Liste des Geräts wählen. Bei Auorderung geben Sie

„0000“ als Passcode ein.

5. Drücken Sie auf Ihrem Gerät PLAY (Wiedergabe) und verwenden Sie die Steuerungen auf dem Gerät zur Einstellung der gewünschten

Lautstärke.

HINWEIS: Nachdem Sie Ihr Gerät erfolgreich verbunden haben, müssen Sie die obigen Schritte normalerweise nicht mehr wiederholen.

Stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass die Gerätequelle auf Bluetooth gestellt wurde und Ihr Gerät Bluetooth aktiviert hat.

Musik durch die Auxiliary Eingangs-Audiobuchse anhören

1. Schließen Sie das Aux-in-Kabel am Kopfhörer oder an die Ausgangsbuchse eines Audiogeräts an und stecken Sie das andere Ende des

Kabels in die Audio-Eingangsbuchse hinten am Gerät.

2. Schieben Sie den EIN-/AUS-SCHALTER, um das Gerät einzuschalten.

3. Drücken Sie auf Ihrem Gerät PLAY (Wiedergabe) und verwenden Sie die Steuerungen auf dem Gerät zur Einstellung der gewünschten

Lautstärke.

Jam – Anleitung zum Herausnehmen der Batterie

Erforderliche Werkzeuge: Ein kleiner Kreuzschlitzschraubenzieher, Eine Zange.

Die eingebaute, wiederauﬂadbare Batterie in Ihrem Jam-Produkt enthält Substanzen, welche die Umwelt verschmutzen können. Nehmen

Sie deshalb unbedingt die Batterie heraus, wenn Sie das Produkt entsorgen. Entsorgen Sie die Batterie an einer oziellen Sammelstelle für

Batterien. Entfernen Sie die Batterie, wenn das Produkt sein Lebensende erreicht hat und stellen Sie sicher, dass die Batterie vollständig

entladen wurde, bevor Sie sie herausnehmen.

1. Entfernen Sie den Gummiring am Produktboden.

2. Lösen Sie die vier Schrauben, um die untere Abdeckung abzunehmen.

Batterie -Richtlinie

Ricarica dell’unità

Una ricarica completa richiede circa 3 ore. L’unità può essere ricaricata collegando alla porta USB un cavo Micro USB (incluso) tramite un

computer oppure un adattatore CA con un jack USB (non incluso).

Nota: La durata massima della batteria è di 4 ore in modalità wireless e 12 ore quando l’unità è collegata tramite un jack di ingresso audio

ausiliario (Aux-In).

Utilizza il tuo dispositivo in modalità wireless tramite Bluetooth®

Per ascoltare la tua musica tramite connessione wireless Bluetooth, occorre sincronizzare il tuo dispositivo con l’altoparlante HMDX Jam:

1. Assicurati che il tuo apparecchio sia dotato della funzionalità Bluetooth.

2. Sposta l’INTERRUTTORE DI ACCENSIONE per accendere l’unità; la spia inizia a lampeggiare.

3. Segui le istruzioni del tuo dispositivo per sincronizzare l’unità.

4. Sincronizza il tuo dispositivo con l’unità selezionando HMDX Jam dall’elenco Bluetooth del tuo apparecchio. Se richiesto, immetti “0000”

come codice di accesso.

5. Premi il tasto di riproduzione sul tuo dispositivo e utilizza i comandi sull’unità per regolare il volume al livello desiderato.

Nota: Una volta completata la sincronizzazione del tuo dispositivo, solitamente non occorre ripetere le operazioni descritte sopra. Controlla

che la sorgente dell’unità sia impostata su Bluetooth e che il tuo dispositivo sia abilitato alla funzionalità Bluetoot

Utilizza il tuo dispositivo tramite il jack di ingresso audio ausiliario

1. Collega il cavo di ingresso ausiliario alle cue o al jack di uscita di un dispositivo audio e collega l’altra estremità del cavo al jack di

ingresso audio sul retro dell’unità.

2. Sposta l’INTERRUTTORE DI ACCENSIONE per accendere l’unità.

3. Premi il tasto di riproduzione (PLAY) sul dispositivo e utilizza i comandi sull’unità per regolare il volume al livello desiderato.

Jam – Istruzioni per la rimozione della batteria

Occorrente: Piccolo cacciavite a croce, Paio di forbici

La batteria ricaricabile integrata nel prodotto Jam contiene sostanze che possono inquinare l’ambiente. Pertanto rimuovere sempre la batteria

prima di gettare il prodotto. Smaltire la batteria presso un punto di raccolta uciale per batterie. Rimuovere la batteria ricaricabile solo al

termine della vita utile del prodotto e dopo aver veriﬁcato che sia completamene scarica.

1. Rimuovere l’anello di gomma dalla base del prodotto.

2. Svitare le 4 viti per aprire il pannello inferiore.

Direttiva relativa alle batterie

Questo simbolo indica che le batterie devono essere smaltite separatamente dai riﬁuti domestici poiché contengono sostanze

potenzialmente nocive per l’ambiente e la salute umana. Smaltire le batterie negli appositi centri di raccolta.
