Das Unternehmen HITACHI hat sich im Rahmen der
Verbraucherelektronikindustrie zur Reduzierung des
Energieverbrauchs von Fernsehgeräten und Videorecordern
im Standby verpflichtet.
Auch wenn Ihr Fernsehgerät mit einer Stromsparfunktion im
Standby ausgestattet ist, können Sie unnötigen
Energieverbrauch völlig ausschließen, indem Sie das Gerät
mit dem Hauptschalter ausschalten, wenn Sie es für längere
Zeit (d.h. mehr als eine Stunde) nicht benutzen. Auf jeden Fall
sollte ein Fernsehgerät über Nacht, oder wenn Sie nicht zu
Hause sind, ausgeschaltet werden. Auch andere Faktoren
sollten Sie bei der Benutzung Ihres Fernsehgerätes
berücksichtigen. Ein Reduzieren der Lautstärke auf ein
vernünftiges Niveau kann den Stromverbrauch beträchtlich
senken und zum Lärmschutz beitragen. Eine Reduzierung
des Kontrasts kann ein angenehmeres Bild ergeben,
erfordert weniger Beleuchtung im Raum und senkt außerdem
den Stromverbrauch.

Ltd. in Wales ist ein BSI-Betrieb, dem die ISO 9001
Qualitätsmanagement-Norm (Zertifikat Nr. FM 32366) und die
Umweltqualitätsmanagement-Norm ISO 14001 (Zertifikat Nr.
36168) zuerkannt wurde. Die Produktion Ihres
Fernsehgerätes erfolgte gemäß dieser Normen.
Das für diese Bedienungsanleitung benutzte Papier wurde im
Rahmen der Verpflichtung von Hitachi zum Schutz der
globalen Umwelt aus Holz nachwachsender Wälder
hergestellt.
