The dishwashing results are not satisfactory
Problem Possible cause Solution
There are residues
or streaks on the
dishes.
The rinse aid is incorrectly
dosed.
Adjust the dosage (see „Adding rinse aid“
on page EN-11).
There is no dishwasher salt. Add dishwasher salt (see „Adding dish-
washer salt“ on page EN-12).
The dishwasher salt is
clumpy.
Stir the dishwasher salt using the end of a
spoon or similar.
The dishes are not
completely clean.
There are food scraps which
are encrusted onto the dish-
es.
Soak dirty dishes prior to washing the dish-
es.
The dishes have not been
stacked optimally.
Stack the dishes in such a way that all parts
can be reached by the water jets (see „Load-
ing the dishwasher“ on page EN-13).
You have selected the in-
correct dishwashing pro-
gramme.
Select the correct dishwashing programme
(see „Dishwasher programme table“ on
page EN-16).
Also select the "Intensive cleaning" option
(see page EN-18).
The dishwasher detergent is
incorrectly dosed.
Use the correct dosage of dishwasher de-
tergent (see „Dishwasher programme table“
on page EN-16).
The water pressure is too
low.
Turn the water tap on completely.
The spraying arm can not ro-
tate unhindered.
Ensure that no dishes are impeding the mo-
tion of the spraying arm.
The nozzles on the spraying
arm are blocked/calcified.
Clean the nozzles (see „Cleaning the wash
arms“ on page EN-21).
Only one spraying arm is ac-
tive.
See „Selecting a spraying arm(s)“ on page
EN-17).
