How to Play

Play in a clockwise direction. Whoever grunts

like a pig ﬁ rst may start. You are farmer Bert.

Take the die and put farmer Bert in front of you. The other players

draw one animal tile face down from the center and secretly look

at it. Then they place the tile underneath the hiding place. Now you

shout: “Where are my animals?” and knock on the table with the

farmer Bert ﬁ gure.

This is the starting signal for all the players to simultaneously make

the voice of their animal three times in a row. Being farmer Bert you

have to listen very carefully in order to memorize who makes which

animal voice.

Then you roll the die. Do you know which animal is hiding

underneath the hiding place of the color appearing on the die?

Watch out!

If you roll the color of your own hiding place or if the hiding place in

question is in the center of the table you can choose any hiding place

of any player and guess the animal underneath.

To check your guess this player shows his animal tile.

Was your animal guess right?

Yes!

Great. You receive the animal tile as a reward and place

it face down in front of you. The player who imitated this

animal so brilliantly also gets an animal tile.

No.

Pity. Unfortunately no player receives an animal tile.

Now all the players return the animal tiles from underneath their hid-

ing places and shufﬂ e them with the tiles in the center of the table.

Pass the farmer Bert play ﬁ gure on to the next player. This player

now performs the job of farmer Bert.
