Buona Notte
E’ l’ora della nanna, la pecorella Sognidoro e le sue sorelline sono a letto. Sognidoro,
però, non riesce a dormire, perché gli sembra che le cose non siano proprio a posto.
Guarda dalla finestra in cielo. “La luna è triste, la sua luce non brilla” pensa Sognidoro
ricordando la soave luce della luna con cui si addormentava la sera.
„Devo consolarla“, pensa Sognidoro e piano piano si alza dal letto per non svegliare
le sorelle. Va alla finestra e sussurra alla luna: “Ciao luna, perché sei triste?”. La luna
sospira: “Ahimè, pecorella! Non vedi? Sono sola soletta, tutte le mie amiche stelle se
ne sono andate via“. “Ma dove sono finite?”, e di nuovo la luna sospira: “trovavano
le luci della terra così belle e anche loro volevano risplendere così!. E così si sono
semplicemente lasciate cader giù”.
„Non essere triste, cara luna, ti aiuterò a ritrovare le stelle”. Sognidoro si veste lesta
ed esce a cercare le stelle. In giardino una luce brilla sotto un cespuglio. Sognidoro
si avvicina, scosta alcuni rami e guarda incuriosita: eccola lì, la stellina piccola e tutta
triste.
„Stellina mia! Che ti è successo? Perchè sei così triste?“, chiede Sognidoro e la stellina
afflitta risponde: “Erano così belle e colorate le luci della terra. Volevo proprio esserci
anch’io a brillare tra loro, ma adesso ho una grande nostalgia della luna e vorrei
tanto brillare insieme a lei. Ahimé! Se potessi essere ancora in cielo!”. „ Forse posso
aiutarti“ esclama Sognidoro prendendola delicatamente in mano. Poi, raggiunto il
centro del prato la lancia con forza verso il cielo; felicissima d’essere nuovamente in
cielo la stellina risplende più di prima.
Sognidoro cerca poi le altre stelle. Guarda vicino all’altalena e sotto il melo. Trova una
stella perfino nella sabbiera; perlustrando l’intero giardino continua a trovare stelle su
stelle che lancia una dopo l’altra di nuovo in cielo. Ad ogni lancio il cielo si illumina più
intensamente. Anche la luna è contenta e brilla a più non posso e ringrazia commossa
Sognidoro: “Grazie, pecorella amica, adesso è tutto in ordine, vai a dormire adesso,
perché sarai senz’altro stanca!”
E in effetti Sognidoro nota d’esser stanca. Felice d’aver aiutato le stelle rientra a casa
e s’infila veloce a letto. La pecorella guarda ancora una volta la luna attraverso la
finestra: “Buona notte cara luna, buona notte care stelle!”. Chiude poi gli occhi e
s’addormenta subito contenta.
