Quack
A dice game for 2 to 4 children ages 4 years and up.

An evening scene at the water lily pond:
Many little frogs have assembled at the pond and now they croak
their daily ”quacking“ concert. But after some time the frogs must
say goodbye and jump into the water.

Aim of the game
Each player tries to get his frogs into the pond as quickly as possible.
Preparation of the game
Each player receives 8 frogs. When played by older children, or when
played by 2 children, everybody gets 12 frogs. The game board remains
in the bottom of the box.

Spielablauf
Wer am weitesten hüpfen kann, darf beginnen. Es wird im Uhrzeigersinn
reihum gewürfelt.
Ist die gewürfelte Farbe auf dem Seerosenteich noch nicht besetzt, darf
man hier einen bzw. zwei Frösche hinsetzen:
gelb: auf jede gelbe Seerose einen Frosch setzen (insgesamt 2)
rot: auf jede rote Seerose einen Frosch setzen (insgesamt 2)
violett: 1 Frosch auf die violette Seerose setzen
orange: 1 Frosch auf die orange Seerose setzen
grün: 1 Frosch auf das große Seerosenblatt setzen
blau: 1 Frosch hüpft ins Wasser (Loch im Spielplan)
Ist die gewürfelte Farbe aber schon besetzt, muss man die jeweiligen
Frösche an sich nehmen. Dies gilt jedoch nicht für blau, im Wasser können
beliebig viele Frösche untertauchen.
In der ersten Runde darf jeder nur einmal würfeln. In allen weiteren
Runden kann man beliebig oft würfeln, aber höchstens, bis man einen
Frosch vom Teich nehmen muss.
Spielende
Wer zuerst keine Frösche mehr vor sich liegen hat, gewinnt das Spiel.
Variante für Jüngere
(Idee der Spielgruppe „Kleine Wolke“ in Marl)
Wird eine schon „besetzte“ Farbe gewürfelt, darf der dort sitzende Frosch
(bei Rot und Gelb beide Frösche) ins Wasser hüpfen und die Farbe wird auf
diese Weise wieder frei für neue Frösche.
