How to play:
The player with the hedgehogs may start.
The counters only move on the green squares.
They are always moved diagonally one square ahead. Both players
try to jump over the counters of the other one in order to take them.
Only single counters can be jumped over.
It’s the turn of the player with the
hedgehogs. One of their counters
stands on a square diagonally in front
of a hare. The square diagonally
behind the hare is free. The hedgehog
now jumps over the hare and "takes"
him.The player of the hedgehog takes
the hare off the game board and puts
it in front of them.
Important: You always jump ...

Hint:
A counter on its own is easily be taken. Therefore always back up your
own counter by having another counter diagonally behind it.
A counter becomes a queen
Once a counter reaches a square of the last row on the opposite side of
the game, it becomes a "queen".
It is stood upright and has additional possibilities of moving:
• it can be moved backwards

Aim of the game:
Who will manage to chase the counters of the opponent off the mea-
dow to win the game?
Important: Whoever gets one or more of their counters to the opposite
side of the game board, may then stand it upright there thereby getting
a "queen".A "queen" has important additional possibilities for moving.
Preparation:
Assemble the game board into a square and place it between the play-
ers.
Each player takes the 12 counters
of one kind and puts them on the
green squares of the three rows clo-
sest to the edge where they are sit-
ting.
The two middle rows are left wit-
hout counters.
