Als de lader aangeeft dat de status van de accu niet
bevredigend is, laat de accu voor een paar minuten
stabiliseren en controleer de spanning van de open
circuit. Het is een goede maat voor het laadniveau van
de accu. De accu wordt als geladen beschouwd als de
maatregel ten minste op 75% staat. Als het laden tot
75% niet lukt, moet de accu worden vervangen. Als het
laadniveau lager is dan 75%, moet de accu opgeladen
en opnieuw getest worden. Vervang de accu als het
laden opnieuw mislukt. De waarden aangegeven in de
onderstaande tabel zijn voor een 12-volt accu; voor een
6 volt accu deel ze door twee.

TEST HET LAAD SYSTEEM
1. Sluit de indicator zoals u zou doen om de accu te testen.
2. Zet de motor aan en laat deze zijn normale temperatuur bereiken.
3. Draai de motor tussen 1200 en 1500 tr/min. WAARSCHUWING: Blijf uit de buurt van bewe-
gende motoronderdelen. Druk niet op de lading schakelaar.
4. Lees de indicator. Een boodschap in het rode band geeft een probleem aan met het laad-
systeem die de accu niet optimaal laadt. Als de indicator buiten de OK-zone komt, het laadsysteem
zal waarschijnlijk de accu overladen.
TEST HET LAAD SYSTEEM
Deze test identiceert een te hoge inschakelstroom afname, waardoor het starten moeilijk is en de
levensduur van de accu vermindert is. Voer een laad test van de accu. Doorgaan als de accu in de
goede staat verkeert.
DE MOTOR MOET OP DE NORMALE WERKTEMPERATUUR ZIJN
1. Sluit de negatieve (zwarte) klem op de negatieve accuhouder (NEG, N, -.). Sluit de positieve
(rode) klem op de positieve accuhouder (POS.,P,+). BEWEEG de klemmen heen en weer om een
goede elektrische verbinding te verzekeren.
2. Schakel de opstart systeem uit, zodat de auto niet kan worden gestart.
3. Start de motor aan en noteer de spanning die te lezen is tijdens het opstarten.
4. Een indicatie van 9 volt of minder duidt op een te hoge inschakelstroom afname. Dit kan te
wijten zijn aan een slechte aansluiting aan de motor of een defecte startmotor of een te kleine accu
voor de eisen van het voertuig.
