 Fuse

The fuse will protect the unit in the following instances:

- Polarity reversal or clamps in short-circuit.

- Starting the vehicle whilst the battery is connected to the charger.

- Charging current is in boost mode for too long or too high and above the nominal current in standard

charge mode.

In case of a fuse break, disconnect the clamps from the battery, switch the unit off, change the fuse, set the

charger to the minimum charge output available and reconnect everything as instructed above.

 Sulphated battery

Batterries without a regular maintenance can be sulphated but in some case they can be recovered. If a battery

is sulphated the needle of the ammeter stays on 0. In this case set the charger to a high current output and

monitor the charge every hour. If after 5 hours the needle hasn’t moved the battery cannot be recovered.

IV – SAFETY

• The charger must be connected to a mains with earth.

• WARNING! Explosive gas, avoid flames and sparks. During charging, the battery should be placed in a

ventilated area.

• Under no circumstances this appliance should be used to charge accumulators or non rechargeable batteries.

• If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after sales or a similarly qualified

person to avoid hazard.

• This charger complies with electromagnetic compatibility standards, which are applicable to domestic devices.

• This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical or mental capabilities,

or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given by a person responsible for their safety,

supervision or instructions concerning the use of the device. Separate collection required.

• Children should not play with the device.
