1.0 - INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS
WARNINGS:
- Place the GT800 alarm in the engine compartment, away from direct sources of water
spray and high tension wiring.
- Solder and isolate all connections.
- Isolate the wires not connected.
- The alarm system should be mounted by a professional installer.
1 - Connect the BROWN wire to O/E vehicle earth.
2 - Connect the RED wire to a permanent 12 volts supply (use the supplied 15 Amp fuse).
3 - Connect the PINK wire of the alarm (max. capacity 80 mA) to the PINK wire of any additional
sensors/modules (i.e. microwave sensor, electric window module).
4 - Connect the GREEN/BLACK wire of the alarm to the GREEN/BLACK wire of any additional
sensors.
5 - Connect the YELLOW wire to an ignition switched live (+15/54) that remains live even
when the engine is being cranked. Do not connect to the same wire used for the engine
immobilisation.
6 - Connect the ORANGE wires to the left and right hand vehicle indicators.
7 - Connect the GREEN wire to the boot and bonnet pin switches, provided that they are
switched earth only.
8 - Connect the GREEN/BROWN wire to the existing doors pin switches, provided that they
are switched earth only.
9 - If you want to activate the ANTI-HIJACK FUNCTION connect the GREEN/BLUE wire to
the original driver’s door pin switch, provided that it is a switched earth only.
10 - Connect the BLUE/VIOLET wire to the “comfort” command of the vehicles equipped with
negative “comfort” closing function (the signal duration is of about 40 seconds).
11- The WHITE and GREY wires are used for the engine immobilisation on either diesel or
petrol vehicles. Cut the ignition switched live that feeds, depending on the type of vehicle, the
fuel pump relay, or the solenoid valve (diesel vehicles). Connect one end to the GREY wire
and the other to the WHITE wire.
WARNING:
- On the vehicles equipped with an ignition key transponder immobiliser, it is not
necessary to connect the WHITE and GREY wire of the alarm, therefore these two
wires can be isolated.
12 - The YELLOW/BLACK wire sends a negative intermittent signal when triggered alarm
(max 100mA). It can be used to command the vehicle’s horn relay.
13 - Place the LED/BUTTON on the dashboard (in a visible way) and connect it to the
connectors in the alarm wiring loom.
