OPERATION _____________________________
Preparation
Caution:
Using for the first time: Boil water without
adding coffee for at least 4 times.
Please follow the steps at the “operation”
section from 1 – 2 and 5 – 12.
1 Remove all packaging and sticker materials
and dispose of them according to the
applicable legal regulation.
2 Before using of the appliance for first time,
clean all parts which come into contact with
water carefully.
(See the “Cleaning and care” section).
3 Make sure that the appliance is sitting in an
upright position and on a stable, flat, clean,
dry and non-slip surface.

4 Fill the desired amount of ground coffee up
to the MAX marking of the permanent filter

coffee measuring spoon

be inserted right into the swivel filter holder

5 Close the screw-on lid

6 Place the thermal jug

turn it on.

before the water has finished running
through the machine.
Caution
However make sure to place the thermal
jug

on the support for thermal jug

within a very short time (max. 30 seconds).
Otherwise the coffee liquid from the filter
could overflow.
9 Remove thermal jug
L
from the support
for thermal jug

, as soon as the brewing
process has finished and thermal jug
L
is filled.
10 To pour coffee, turn the screw-on lid

counter clockwise, until the arrow on the
screw-on lid
H
is located across from the
arrow marking

for “open”.
Notes
You can keep coffee hot in the thermal jug

, for up to 1 hour approximately.
11 To turn the appliance off, press the On/Off
switch

to the “O” position.

12 Disconnect the appliance from the wall socket.
Notes
If you want to continue the brewing process,
repeat the procedure from 1 to 12. Let
the appliance cool down between each
brewing process.
Hints and Tips
Use softened or filtered water to prevent
lime build-up.
