Apple-Apricot Dessert with Cinnamon and Sugar
Portions: 4
Preparation time: approx. 15 minutes
Cooking time: approx. 25 minutes
Ingredients:
4-5 apples
2 tbsp. oil
85 g apricots, dried and ready to eat
1-2 tbsp. honey
Seasoning: cinnamon and sugar to taste.
Preparation:
1. Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut them into pieces of equal size.
2. Insert the basket insert into the device.
3. Mix the apple pieces with the oil in a bowl and then place this into the device.
4. Set the cooking temperature to 200 °C.
5. Set the cooking time to 15 minutes and switch on the device.
6. Cut the apricots into quarters and mix them with honey, cinnamon and sugar.
7. After the end of the cooking time, add the mixture of apricot, honey, cinnamon
and sugar and cook for a further 10 minutes. If the apples are not yet soft
enough, increase the cooking time at a reduced cooking temperature.
8. If necessary, mix together more sugar and cinnamon and add this to the apple
and apricot mixture which is still hot. Tastes superb with vanilla ice cream or
natural yoghurt.
