ating instructions carefully and keep them for future reference and
other users. They form an integral part of the product.

Intended Use
• This product is intended to be used to sharpen knives with con-
ventional steel blades. It is not suitable for sharpening ceram-
ic-coated blades or very delicate steel blades (e.g. Damascus
steel blades).
• The product is designed for personal use only and is not in-
tended for commercial applications. The product should only be
used as described in the operating instructions. Any other use
is deemed to be improper.

with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities.

use it.
■ Always make sure that your ngers or other body parts are out-
side of the cutting line.
■ Always sharpen knives out of the reach of children and animals.
■ Be careful when handling knives so that you do not injure your-
self or others!
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■ Sharpen high-quality knife blades according to the manufac-
turer’s specications so that the quality is not compromised.
■ Keep the product away from hot surfaces and protect it from im-
pacts to prevent material damage.
Items Supplied

Check the product for any transport damage. In the event of any
transport damage, please contact our customer service depart-
ment.
Use
Only sharpen blades which are clean and dry.
1. Place the knife sharpener on a table or another at, dry and
clean surface.
2. Select the angle you want using the
rotary disc:
– 17° – very ne blades, e.g. ne
kitchen knives, carving knives
– 20° – regular blades, e.g. normal
kitchen knives, table knives
– 25° – robust blades, e.g. craft
knives, pocket knives, outdoor
knives
3. Turn over the knife sharpener so that the adjusting dial is point-
ing away from you.
4. Place the blade with the wide end close to the knife handle
between the grinding surfaces and hold it straight so that both
grinding surfaces touch the blade.
5. Hold the knife sharpener rmly with one hand.
6. Pull the knife through the knife sharpener towards yourself.
Do not apply any great pressure and do not perform any
movement backwards and forwards! Always pull only in
one direction!
7. Repeat the process a few times until you get the level of sharp-
ness you want.
Only ever use testing material and never your own ngers
or other body parts to check the blade sharpness.
8. Carefully rinse the knife after sharpening.
Cleaning and Storage
• Wipe down the knife sharpener after use with a damp, soft
cloth to remove any slivers of metal. Do not clean it in a dish-
washer or use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for
cleaning.
• Store in a clean and dry place.

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
