Dispose of the packaging in a type-specific manner and in
accordance with your local waste regulations. Put cardboard
and paper into recycling. Films belong in the recyclable mate-
rial collection.
If the device has reached the end of its useful life, please remove
the battery and dispose of the calculator in environmentally
friendly waste disposal (e.g. recycling yard). The calculator must
not be disposed of with household waste.
The device includes a battery. At the end of the respective
useful life of the batteries, these must not be disposed of with
household waste.
14. CONFORMITY DECLARATION
The conformity of the product with the prescribed standards is
guaranteed.

13. DISPOSAL12. BATTERY CHANGE
a) Switch the calculator OFF before beginning with the battery
change.
b) Release the screw on the battery cover on the back of the
calculator. (Fig. 1)
DO NOT LOSE THE SCREWS!
c) Slide the cover in the direction of the arrow and open the
battery compartment.
d) Remove the empty battery by putting a sharp object into
the side indentation in the battery compartment and pres-
sing the battery out. Dispose of the empty battery later, as
described under “Disposal”.
e) Insert the new battery, such that the pole is visible for you.
f) Slide the battery cover back onto the calculator and tighten
the screw.
g) Switch the calculator back ON and check whether “0” appears
in the display. If “0” should not appear, check whether you
have inserted the battery correctly.
