Doel van het spel :
Het doel van het spel is om “meester van Tokyo” te worden. Het spel eindigt als een monster 20
overwinningspunten (ster) haalt of indien hij het laatste overlevende monster is.
Spelvoorbereiding :
Elke speler kiest een monster en neemt de figuur (6), het monsterbord (5) en zet hierop z’n
levenspunten op 10 en de overwinningspunten op 0. Leg het Tokyo-bord (1) in het midden van de
tafel, binnen bereik van alle spelers. Het stelt de stad Tokyo voor, onderverdeeld in twee plaatsen :
“Tokyo stad” en “Tokyo haven”. Steeds wanneer een kaart refereert naar Tokyo, betreft het beide
plaatsen.
In het begin van het spel is er niemand in Tokyo.
(indien dit je eerste spel is of als er 4 of minder spelers zijn, gebruik je enkel Tokyo stad, voor 5 of 6
spelers gebruik je ook Tokyo haven)
Schud de kaarten (2) en vorm een trekstapel en leg de eerste drie kaarten open op tafel naast de
trekstapel en de markers.
Plaats de 6 zwarte dobbelstenen (4) in het centrum van de tafel en leg de groene opzij (deze worden
enkel gebruikt bij speciale kaarten).
Leg tenslotte de energieblokjes klaar naast het speelbord.
Speeloverzicht :
Alle spelers gooien de 6 zwarte dobbelstenen. Diegene die het meeste “aanval” (klauw) gooit, gaat
eerst.
Beginnend met de startspeler, neemt elk monster z’n beurt en dan gaat de beurt naar de speler aan
z’n linkerzijde. Een beurt bestaat uit het volgende, in de aangegeven volgorde :
