Diese Informationen müssen vor der ersten Anwendung unbedingt gelesen werden.
1. Nur für Edelstahlsohle Einige der Bügeleisenteile wurden leicht eingeschmiert. Aus diesem
Grund kann es vorkommen, daß beim erstmaligen Anschalten, aus dem Bügeleisen Rauch
austritt. Dies müßte jedoch bei folgenden Anwendungen abebben.
Bevor Sie das Bügeleisen zum ersten Mal verwenden, müssen Sie erst alle Aufkleber und alle
auf der Bügeleisensohle angebrachten Schutzabdeckungen abziehen: Danach sollten Sie
diese Sohle mit einem weichen Tuch reinigen.
2. Die Bügeleisensohle darf nicht beschädigt werden: achten Sie darauf, daß Sie die Sohle bei
Ihren Bügelarbeiten nicht mit Metallteilen (z.B. Bügeltischrahmen, Knöpfe oder Reißverschlüsse)
verkratzen.
3. Kleidungsstücke aus Reiner Wolle (100% Wolle) können mit einem, auf Dampf eingestellten
Bügeleisen glattgepreßt werden.

WAHL DER WASSERART
- Dieses Bügeleisen kann mit normalem Leitungswasser verwendet werden.
- Wenn das Wass
er in Ihrer Umgebung besonders hart ist (Härte über 25° F), empfi ehlt sich die
Verwendung von destilliertem oder entmineralisiertem Wasser, um zu verhindern, dass sich
an den kritischen Teilen des Bügeleisens Ablagerungen bilden.
- Verwenden Sie kein chemisch behandeltes Wasser.
AUFFÜLLEN MIT WASSER
- Achten Sie darauf, dass das Bügeleisen vor dem Auffüllen mit Wasser vom Stromnetz getrennt wird.
- Setzen Sie dem Dampf Regulierungsknauf (4) Einschaltstellung "MIN".
- Schrauben Sie den Propfen auf der hinter Seite des Eisens ab und Füllen Sie Wasser durch die
Wasserfüllöffnung ein.
Anmerkung:
- Füllen Sie nur bis zur Markierung "MAX" am Wasserbehälter, um ein Auslaufen des Wassers zu
vermeiden.
SPRAYING
At any temperature by pushing on the spray button (5) a couple of times the laundry can be damped
down. Ensure that there is enough water in the water tank.
STEAM-IRONING
Like indicated on the display (1) and on the temperature table, steam-ironing is only possible at higher
ironing temperatures:
••• for moderate steam
MAX for maximum steam.
- Ensure that there is enough water in the water tank.
- Stand the iron on its rear side.
- Insert the plug into the wall socket.
- Pressing the pulse button for the temperature regulation (1) select a temperature within the "steam
range" (••• or "MAX"). On the display it will twinkle "STAND BY" which means that the iron is
warming up. When "STAND BY" disappears it means that the iron has achieved the desired
temperature.
The iron is suffi ciently hot and can be used the steam function has soon as the correspondent
symbol
appears on the display.
- Set the steam knob (4) on the desired position.
Press the steam pulse button (6). The iron will start ejecting steam.
Notes:
Water may leak from the soleplate if the temperature selected is too low. This will then cause stains.
Steaming will recommence as soon as the appropriate temperature has been reached.
SHOT OF STEAM
- Pressing the pulse button of temperature regulation (1) select the "MAX" temperature.
- By pressing steam button (6) an intense "shot" of steam is emitted from the soleplate.
- This can be very useful e.g. when removing stubborn creases.
- The "shot" of steam facility can be used only while ironing with high ironing temperature
(positions ••• or MAX ).
VERTICAL STEAM
- Pressing the pulse button of temperature regulation (1) select the "MAX" temperature.
- Stand the iron on its rear side.
- Hold the iron vertically and press steam button (6), an intense "vertical steam" will be emitted
from the soleplate.
DRY IRONING
- Insert the plug in the wall socket.
- Ensure that the steam dial (4) is in position "MIN".
- Pressing the pulse button of temperature regulation (1) heat suited for the fabric to be ironed.
