Avec thermostat réglable
– Cet appareil est muni d’un thermostat grâce auquel
la température peut être adaptée et maintenue aux
différentes cuissons à effectuer.
– Le niveau de température est réglable au moyen du
bouton qui se trouve au centre du capot supérieur.

– Le cadran de ce bouton comporte 8 positions pos-
sibles. Position optimum : 6-8 selon le type de pâte
utilisée.
– Suivant que vous désirez obtenir des gaufres molles
et légèrement dorées ou des gaufres croquantes,
dorées à souhait, tournez le bouton dans le sens des
aiguilles d’une montre en suivant et en choisissant la
graduation colorée correspondant à votre goût.
– Le voyant s’éteindra après quelques minutes (temps
de préchauffage), indiquant ainsi que la température
désirée est atteinte et que le thermostat fonctionne
parfaitement.
– L’appareil est alors prêt à fonctionner.
Changement des moules
(Se référer à la photo page 3)
1. Coupez le courant et laissez refroidir les moules.
2. Glissez les 2 glissières (3 p.3) vers l’intérieur pour
dégager les moules du socle (5 p.3).
3. A l’aide d’une pièce de monnaie, desserrez la vis (4
p.3) servant à la xation des moules sur le boîtier et
ouvrez l’appareil, les moules se détacheront d’eux-
mêmes du boîtier.
4. Pour remettre un autre moule en place, veillez à glis-
ser l’ergot qui se trouve sous la poignée dans le trou
prévu dans l’excroissance à l’arrière du moule avant
de rabattre le boîtier et de le bloquer à l’aide de la vis
que vous avez enlevée. Opérez de la même façon pour
l’autre moule et ouvrez deux ou trois fois l’appareil pour
vous assurer que tout est bien en place.
5. Les moules se placent indifféremment sur l’un ou
l’autre boîtier.
With adjustable thermostat
– This appliance is equipped with a thermostat by
which the temperature can be adapted and maintai-
ned at the various cooking temperatures to be used.
– The temperature is adjustable by means of the but-
ton which is located in the middle of the top cover.

– The button’s dial has 8 possible positions. Optimum
position : 6-8 according to the type of dough being
used.
– Depending on whether you wish to obtain soft, gol-
den-brown wafes or crunchy wafes, cooked to
your preferred degree of golden-brown, turn the but-
ton clockwise according to the degree of browning
corresponding to your taste.
– After a few minutes the light will go out (warming-
up time), this indicating that the desired temperature
has been reached and that the thermostat is working
properly.
– The appliance is now ready for use.
Changing the irons
(Refer to the photograph on page 3)
1. Cut the current and allow the irons to cool.
2. Slide the 2 sliding pieces (3 p.3) towards the interior
to release the irons from the base (5 p.3).
3. Using a coin, unscrew the screws (4 p.3) that secure
the irons to the case and open the appliance. The
irons will detach themselves from the case.
4. To put another iron in place, slide the lug located
under the handle into the hole in the bump located
on the back of the iron before closing the case and
securing the two pieces with the screw you remo-
ved earlier. Do the same with the other iron and open
the appliance two or three times to ensure that eve-
rything is well in place.
5. The irons can be interchanged without difculty on
any of the cases.
Met regelbare thermostaat
– Dit apparaat is uitgerust met een thermostaat waar-
mee de temperatuur kan worden aangepast aan de
diverse bakwijzen en worden behouden.
– Het temperatuurniveau kan worden geregeld met de
knop in het midden van de bovenkap (foto pagina 3)
– Deze knop bevat 8 mogelijke standen. Optimale
stand: 6-8 naargelang het gebruikte deeg.
– Naargelang u zachte en lichtgele wafels wenst of
krokante, diepgele wafels, draait u de knop in wij-
zerzin. Volg en kies hierbij de kleur die overeenstemt
met uw smaak.
– Het lampje dooft na enkele minuten uit (voorverwar-
mingstijd). Dit betekent dat de gewenste tempera-
tuur is bereikt en dat de thermostaat perfect werkt.
– Het apparaat is nu klaar voor gebruik.
Verwisselen van de bakvormen
(Zie foto pagina 3)
1. Schakel de stroom uit en laat de bakvormen
afkoelen.
2. Schuif de 2 schuifknoppen (3 p. 3) naar binnen om
de bakvormen van de sokkel los te maken (5 p. 3).
3. Draai met behulp van een muntstuk de schroe-
ven (4 p. 3) los waarmee de bakvormen aan het
ijzer zijn bevestigd en open het apparaat. De vor-
men komen vanzelf los.
4. Om een andere bakvorm te plaatsen schuift u de
pen die zich onder de handgreep bevindt in het
gat in het uitstekende stuk achterop de bakvorm.
Sla vervolgens het ijzer terug en blokkeer de
beide delen met behulp van de schroeven die u
hebt verwijderd. Doe hetzelfde voor de andere
vorm en klap het apparaat twee of driemaal open
en dicht om te controleren of alles goed op zijn
plaats zit.
5. De bakvormen kunnen op alle ijzers worden
gebruikt.
