ALGEMENE INFORMATIE
Wanneer u uw auto regelmatig laat
onderhouden zal dit de betrouwbaarheid
en de inruilwaarde ten goede komen. Er
staat een groot netwerk van Ford Erkende
Reparateurs ter beschikking die u met hun
professionele expertise ter zijde kunnen
staan. De speciaal opgeleide monteurs zijn
het best gekwalificeerd om het onderhoud
aan uw auto snel en vakkundig uit te
voeren. Bovendien beschikken zij over
gereedschappen en apparatuur die
speciaal zijn ontwikkeld om het onderhoud
aan uw auto uit te voeren.
Naast het normale onderhoud raden wij
aan de volgende extra controles uit te
voeren.
WAARSCHUWINGEN
Zet het contact af voordat u
onderdelen aanraakt of probeert af
te stellen.
Raak onderdelen van het
elektronisch ontstekingssysteem bij
aangezet contact of draaiende motor
niet aan. Het systeem werkt met
hoogspanning.
Zorg dat uw handen en
kledingstukken niet met de
koelventilateur in aanraking kunnen
komen. Onder bepaalde omstandigheden
kan de koelventilateur na het afzetten van
de motor nog enkele minuten blijven
doordraaien.
LET OP
Zorg tijdens het uitvoeren van
onderhoudscontroles dat de
vuldoppen stevig zijn aangebracht.
Dagelijkse controles
• Buitenverlichting.
• Interieurverlichting.
• Waarschuwings- en controlelampen.
Controles bij het tanken
• Motoroliepeil. Zie Motorolie
controleren (bladzijde 230).
• Remvloeistofpeil. Zie Controle
vloeistofpeil koppeling en
remsysteem (bladzijde 231).
• Peil van de ruitensproeiervloeistof. Zie
Ruitensproeiervloeistof
controleren (bladzijde 232).
• Bandenspanning (in koude toestand).
Zie Technische specificatie
(bladzijde 253).
• Staat van de banden. Zie Verzorging
van banden (bladzijde 251).
Maandelijkse controles
• Koelvloeistofpeil (bij koude motor).
Zie Motorkoelvloeistof controleren
(bladzijde 231).
• Slangen, leidingen en reservoirs op
lekkage.
• Vloeistofpeil stuurbekrachtiging. Zie

• Werking van de airconditioning.
• Werking van de parkeerrem.
• Werking van de claxon.
• Vastzitten van de wielmoeren. Zie
