Als de auto wordt gestald, moet vooral aan-
dacht worden geschonken aan het onderbre-
ken van de accuspanning. Hierbij moet de snel-
koppeling van de minklem
A aan de valse min-
pool
B worden losgenomen, omdat op de min-
pool
C van de accu een sensor D is gemon-
teerd die de conditie van de accu controleert;
deze mag nooit worden losgenomen, behalve
als de accu moet worden vervangen.
Wendt u voor het vervangen van
de accu tot het Fiat Servicenet-
werk. Vervang de accu door een accu van
hetzelfde type (HEAVY DUTY) en met de-
zelfde specificaties.
OPGELET
NOODSTART fig. 6
Als een noodstart moet worden uitgevoerd met
een hulpaccu, sluit dan nooit de minkabel (-) van
de hulpaccu aan op de minpool
C van de accu
in de auto, maar op de valse pool
B of op een
massa-aansluiting van de motor/versnellingsbak.

WAARSCHUWINGEN
Controleer voordat de motorkap
wordt geopend of de motor is uit-
geschakeld en de contactsleutel in de stand
OFF staat. Neem de voorschriften op de stic-
ker nabij de fronttraverse in acht fig.7. Het
verdient aanbeveling om de sleutel te ver-
wijderen als andere personen in de auto
achterblijven. De auto mag pas worden ver-
laten als de sleutel is uitgenomen of in de
stand OFF is gezet. Tijdens het tanken moet
de motor zijn uitgeschakeld door de sleutel
in de stand OFF te draaien.
OPGELET
Bij auto’s met automatische ver-
snellingsbak moet, als de motor
wordt uitgeschakeld op een helling, de motor
opnieuw worden gestart door de selectorhen-
del in de stand (+) of (-) te zetten zonder het
rempedaal los te laten. Bij auto’s met auto-
matische versnellingsbak, waarbij ook de Hill
Holder functie aanwezig is, moet, als de motor
automatisch wordt uitgeschakeld op een hel-
ling, de motor opnieuw worden gestart door de
selectorhendel in de stand (+) of (-) te zetten
zonder het rempedaal los te laten, zodat de
Hill Holder functie beschikbaar blijft (deze
werkt alleen bij draaiende motor).
OPGELET
Als u de voorkeur geeft aan de kli-
maatregeling, kan het Start&Stop-
systeem worden uitgeschakeld, zodat de kli-
maatregeling continu kan werken.
