WARTUNG
Trennen Sie die Maschine vom Netz, wenn Sie am
Mechanismus Wartungsarbeiten ausführen müssen.
Diese Maschinen sind entworfen, um während einer
langen Zeit problemlos und mit minimaler Wartung zu
funktionieren. Sie verlängern die Lebensdauer, indem
Sie die Maschine regelmäßig reinigen und fachgerecht
behandeln.
Reinigen
Reinigen Sie das Maschinengehäuse regelmäßig mit
einem weichen Tuch, vorzugsweise nach jedem Einsatz.
Halten Sie die Lüfterschlitze frei von Staub und Schmutz.
Entfernen Sie hartnäckigen Schmutz mit einem weichen
Tuch, angefeuchtet mit Seifenwasser. Verwenden Sie
keine Lösungsmittel wie Benzin, Alkohol, Ammonia,
usw. Derartige Stoffe beschädigen die Kunststoffteile.
Schmieren
Die Maschine braucht keine zusätzliche Schmierung.
Störungen
Wenn es eine Störung etwa durch Verschleiß eines
Elements gibt, wenden Sie sich bitte an die Service
adresse, die auf der Garantiekarte angegeben ist.
Am Ende dieser Bedienungsanleitung finden Sie eine
Zeichnung der erhältlichen Ersatzteile.
UMWELT
Um Transportschäden zu verhindern, wird die Maschine
in einer soliden Verpackung geliefert. Die Verpackung
besteht weitgehend aus verwertbarem Material.
Benutzen Sie also die Möglichkeit zum Recyclen der
Verpackung.

CORRECTIVE ACTION IN CASE OF
FAILURE
1. The operating switch is switched on, but the
motor is not working.
-The electric circuit is broken.
Have the electric circuit repaired.
-Wires in the mains plug or in the socket are loose.
Have socket and plug checked or repaired.
-The switch is faulty.
Have the switch replaced.
2. The operating switch is switched on, but
unusual noises can be heard, the motor is not
working or only very slowly.
-Switch contact has fused.
Have the switch replaced.
-Component jammed.
Have the electric tool checked or repaired.
-Too much thrust, as a result the motor is dragging.
Use less thrust during the task.
3. Motor gets hot.
-Foreign substances have got inside the motor.
Have the foreign substances removed.
-Lack of or contaminated lubricating grease.
Have lubricating grease applied or replaced.
-Pressure too high.
Use less thrust during the task
-Planer blunt.
Replace the planer.
4. The motor is working, but the planer is not
moving.
-V-belt worn.
Have V-belt replaced.
5. Frequent or strong sparks on the
commutator.
-Short circuit on the armature.
Have the armature replaced.
-Carbon brushes worn out or jammed
Have the carbon brushes checked.
-Rough running of the commutator.
Have the surface of the commutator cleaned or
ground
For your own safety, never remove parts or accessories
of the electric tool during operation. In case of fault or
damage have the electric tool repaired only by a
specialist workshop or by the manufacturer.
CAUTION!
Use only original spare parts and original plane blades!
MAINTENANCE
Make sure that the machine is not live when
carrying out maintenance work on the motor.
These appliances are designed to function without
difficulty for a long time and to require minimum
maintenance. You will prolong the appliance's life by
cleaning it regularly and using it correctly.
Cleaning
Clean the housing regularly with a soft cloth, preferably
every time it is used. Keep the air vents free of dust and
dirt.
Remove stubborn dirt with a soft rag moistened in soapy
water. Do not use any solvents such as petrol, alcohol,
ammonia, etc. as such substances can damage the plastic
parts.
Lubrication
The appliance does not need any extra lubrication.
Faults
If a fault arises through wear in an element, please
contact the service address shown on the warranty card.
A drawing of the spare parts that may be obtained is
included at the end of these operating instructions.
ENVIRONMENT
To prevent damage during transport, the appliance is
delivered in a solid packaging which consists largely of
reusable material. Therefore please make use of options
for recycling the packaging.

card which is enclosed.
