1. INPUT - Plug in your guitar at this jack.
NOTE: The Normal channel must be selected for
items 2-6 to function. See DRIVE SELECT (item 14)
2. VOLUME - Adjusts the loudness of the amplifier.
3. MID SHIFT - Switch IN shifts up one octave the fre-
quency range controlled by the MID knob (item 5). This
offers control over a slightly higher range of your sig-
nal. Switch OUT shifts the MID range down one octave
to its original position.
4. TREBLE - Adjusts the high frequency level.
5. MID - Adjusts the mid frequency level in the range
selected by the MID SHIFT button (item 3).
6. BASS - Adjusts the low frequency level.
NOTE: The Drive channel must be selected for items
7-13 and 15 to function. See DRIVE SELECT (item 14).
Either GAIN 1 (Red) OR GAIN 2 (Yellow) can be select-
ed as the active pre-amp in the Drive channel. See
GAIN SELECT (item 8).
7. GAIN 1 - Adjusts the pre-amp level (distortion/sustain)
while the Red pre-amp is active. Lower settings pro-
vide a gradual compression distortion and higher set-
tings provide more sustain. GAIN 1 must be used in
conjunction with the Drive channel VOLUME (item 15)
to set the overall volume of the amplifier.
8. GAIN SELECT - One of two pre-amp circuits can be
selected for the Drive channel. Switch OUT selects the
Red Drive channel pre-amp (GAIN 1). Switch IN
selects the Yellow Drive channel pre-amp (GAIN 2).
9. GAIN 2 - Adjusts the pre-amp level (distortion/sustain)
while the Yellow pre-amp is active. Lower settings pro-
vide a gradual compression distortion and higher set-
tings provide more sustain. GAIN 2 must be used in
conjunction with the Drive Channel VOLUME (item 15)
to set the overall volume of the Yellow Drive Channel.
10.PRE-AMP INDICATORS - The red LED illuminates while
the Red pre-amp (GAIN 1) is active. The yellow LED
illuminates while the Yellow pre-amp (GAIN 2) is active.
11.TREBLE - Adjusts the post-distortion high frequency
level .
12.MID - Adjusts the middle frequency level.
13.BASS - Adjusts the post-distortion low frequency level.
14.DRIVE SELECT - Switch IN selects the Drive channel.
Switch OUT selects the Normal channel.
15.VOLUME - Adjusts the loudness of the amplifier. Must
be used in conjunction with the currently active pre-
amp GAIN control (1=Red or 2=Yellow).
NOTE: Both the Normal and Drive channels are affect-
ed by items 16-20.
16.REVERB - Adjusts the reverb effect level in both chan-
nels.
17.EFFECTS MIX - Adjusts the effects (wet) level signal
while using the rear panel effects loop option.
18.FOOTSWITCH (Included) - Plug in the footswitch here.
The footswitch enables switching between Normal and
Drive channels, between Red and Yellow pre-amps
and ON/OFF switching of the REVERB effect.
NOTE: When plugged in, the footswitch disables the
front panel select buttons. Connect the footswitch
using a speaker grade cord rather than a coaxial guitar
cord.
