workpiece surface. The saw blade recommendations must be
observed. Use only ½” universal shank saw blades. The saw
blade should not be longer than required for the intended cut.
BEFORE USING THIS TOOL
Before using the tool, make sure the mains voltage is
correct: it must be the same as that on the specication
label. Machines with 230 V can also be connected to a 220
V mains supply. Before plugging the tool in, always check
that On/Off switch is functioning normally and returns to Off

tight seating of the saw blade. A loose saw blade can fall
out and lead to injuries. For certain work, the saw blade 1 can
also be turned through 180° (with the teeth pointed upwards)
and re-inserted again.
Removing the Saw Blade
Turn the locking sleeve 4 approx. 90° in the direction of the

OPERATION
Pivoting and Retractable Footplate
Due to its movability, the adjustable footplate 2 adapts to the
required angular position of the surface. Depending on the
saw blade being used and the application, the footplate 2 can
be moved in lengthway direction in three steps.
Move the lever for the footplate 8 and slide the footplate 2
to the required position. Move the footplate lever 8 to initial
position.

using button retainer B. If the On/Off switch is depressed and
released once again, the machine will stop.
Speed regulation
Regulator 9 is located in the upper section of the handle.

corresponds to the minimum speed and position F is the
maximum speed.
Electronic regulation can be carried out with the machine
running.
The optimum number of strokes depends on the material and
particularly on the working conditions. The table below allows
to choose optimal speed for various types of materials.
