To take intermediate time readings as a race progresses:
1.Press button Ato start chronograph.
2.Press button Bto momentarily stop chronograph.
3.Read off the intermediate time.
4.Press button Bto resume chronograph function.
Hands will catch up with ongoing event.
5.To read a second split time, press button Bagain.
Repeat steps 2 through 4 to take any additional split times.
6.Press button Ato stop chronograph.
7.Take a reading of the final time.
8.Press button Bto reset chronograph hands to zero.
Synchronizing hands on Analog Chronograph with Alarm:
After changing the battery, or in the event of an error, the
chronograph hands can be realigned to zero if needed.
With crown in position 1, flush against case:
1.Press and hold buttons Aand Bsimultaneously for approximately
2 seconds to enter corrective mode.
2.Use button Bto realign chronograph minute counter hand E.
3.Use button Ato realign chronograph seconds hand G.
4.Press and hold buttons Aand Bsimultaneously to exit corrective
mode, with 2 chronograph hands now properly synchronized
at 12 o’clock/zero position.

E-Chronograph 30-minute counter
G-Chronograph seconds hand
D-Date window
1, 2, 3 - Crown positions

A chronograph combines two time-keeping functions. It incorporates
a device to measure intervals of time independent of the regular time
shown on the dial. Your ESQ SWISS Analog Chronograph with Alarm
features a 30-minute counter, 12-hour alarm, and date display. It can
be used to time events up to 5 hours and 30 minutes in duration to
the nearest second.
To set the time:
1.Pull crown out to position 3.
2.Rotate crown in either direction to move hour Hand minute
Mhands to correct time.
3.Push crown back in to position 1.
To set the date:
CAUTION: Never set the date between 9:00 PM and 12:30 AM
when automatic calendar changes are taking place. Doing so could
damage the mechanism.
1. Pull crown out to position 2.
2. Rotate crown clockwise until correct date appears in window D.
3. Push crown back in to position 1.
To set alarm:
1.Pull crown out to position 2.
2.Turn crown counterclockwise until alarm hand Lis pointing to
desired time on bezel.
3.Push crown back in to position 1.
