IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• Read the instructions carefully before use.
• When in use, this appliance is under pressure and should never be left unattended.
• We suggest you keep the original box, as our free-of-charge service does not cover
transportation damage due to inadequate packaging of the product when sent to an
Authorised Service Centre.
• Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, make sure that the voltage in

dicated on the plate on the bottom of the machine corresponds to the local network
voltage.
• Do not lift the appliance from the water tank; instead use the cavities found at the
base of the machine.
• Avoid putting excessive quantities of water into the tank.
• Do not use sparkling water (with added carbon dioxide).
• Never use the machine without water because the pump will burn out.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surface, including
the stove.
• Turn the appliance OFF and unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on
or taking off parts and before cleaning. To disconnect, turn the appliance of rst,
and pull the plug out from wall outlet.
•
Do not leave the machine at a room temperature below 0°C because the water
remaining in the boiler could freeze and cause damage.
• Before lling the tank with water, remember to always disconnect the appliance at
the socket.
• This appliance is for domestic use only and must not be used for commercial or
industrial purposes.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Do not adjust the coffee grinder when it is functioning. Never introduce ground cof

fee in the coffee grinder, only coffee beans must be used.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs
• Never use warm or hot water to ll the water chamber. Use cold water only.
• Before cleaning the appliance always unplug if and allow it cool down. Clean exclu

sively with a non-abrasive cloth that has been slightly dampened with water
, adding
a few drops of mild, non-aggressive detergent (never use solvents that damage
plastic)
DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the appliance, cord or
plug in water or other liquid.
• Never direct the steam or hot water jet towards parts of the body; handle the steam/
hot water spout with care: risk of scalding!
• Place the machine on a stable surface where it cannot be knocked over.
