Questo motore è progettato e costruito in conformità all’applicazione

pos so no pro vo ca re al te ra zio ni alla carburazione.
TRASPORTO (Fig. 84-85-86-87)
cinghie.
Never use fuel for cleaning operations.
CARBURETOR
Before adjusting the carburetor, clean the air lter (C, Fig. 80) and
warm up the engine.
This engine is designed and manufactured in order to comply with
the applicable 97/68/EC, 2002/88/EC and 2004/26/EC Directive. The
carburettor (Fig. 81) is designed to allow adjustment only of
screws L and H, through one quarter turn. The quarter round the
hall range admissible for L and H ± 1/8 screws is determined by the
manufacturer and you can not modify it.
WARNING! - Don’t try to force the screws outside the range!
Idle screw T is adjusted in order to ensure a good safety margin
between idle running and clutch engagement.
Screw L must be adjusted so that the engine promptly responds to
sharp accelerations and gives good idle operation.
Screw H must be adjusted so that the engine gives maximum power
during the cutting phase.
WARNING: When the engine is idling (2800-3000 rpm) the
blades must not turn. We recommend that you have the
dealer or an authorised mechanic carry out any carburetor
adjustments.
WARNING: Weather conditions and altitude may a ect
carburation.
TRANSPORTATION (Fig. 84-85-86-87)
When you walk with your hedge trimmers, turn o the engine and
put on the blade guard.
DS 2400 HL - BC 240 HL: For ease of transportation, fold the
attachment back onto the shaft arm and lock in position. The
transport position is illustrated in page 32.
WARNING When transporting the machine in a vehicle,
ensure that it is properly secured using belts. The machine
should be transported in a horizontal position with the tank
empty, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations for
transport of such machines.
