■ Always pull the mains plug and never the mains cable to dis-
connect the article from the mains power.
■ Never leave the article unattended when it is switched on or
connected to the mains power.
■ Use the article only if it is properly assembled and shows no
visible damage. Do not use the article if it has malfunctioned,
fallen or been dropped in water.
■ Do not make any modifi cations to the article. Only have repairs
to the article, mains cable and mains plug carried out in a
specialist workshop. Contact our customer service department
if necessary. Incorrect repairs may pose considerable risks to
the user.
Warning of Fire!
■ Do not use the article in rooms containing easily ignitable dust
or poisonous and explosive fumes.
■ Do not cover the article, for example with cloths or something
similar.
Avoiding Damage to Material and Property
■ Always place the article on a dry surface, a suffi cient distance
away from fl ammable objects.
■ Protect the article from heat, naked fl ames, extreme tempera-
tures, persistent moisture, wet conditions and collisions.
■ Do not place any heavy objects on the article.
■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the article. These can damage the surface.
■ The individual LEDs cannot be replaced.

Before Initial Use
• Unpack the items supplied and check them for completeness
(see the “Items Supplied and Article Overview” chapter) and
possible transport damage. If you fi nd any damage to the ar-
ticle, do not use them (!), but contact our customer service
department.
• Before using the article, remove all packaging materials and
any labels that may be present and are used for protection
during transportation or for advertising.
Use
1. Place the article on a dry, even surface.
2. Turn the lamp head (1) to the position you want. The lamp can
be infi nitely adjusted using the fl exible lamp (4) neck.
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket that
is easily accessible.
4. Switch on the article by moving the On / Off switch (3) to the I
position.
5. To switch it off, move the On / Off switch (3) to the 0 position.
Cleaning and Storage
CAUTION!
■ Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before cleaning
the article.
• Clean the article if necessary using a soft, dry cloth.
• Store the article in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to
children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the article does not work properly, check whether you are able to
rectify the problem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective
electrical article
yourself!
If the article will not switch on, check the following:
• Is the mains plug inserted in the plug socket correctly? Correct
the fi t of the mains plug.
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
• Check the fuse of the mains connection.
