Inserting / Changing Batteries
Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts are
clean and clean them if necessary.
1. Twist the lamp head (7)
anticlockwise and pull it out
of the housing (1).
2. Press together the two
locking lugs and take off the
battery compartment cover.
3. Remove any used batter-
ies and insert four batter-
ies (1.5 V D type) into the
battery compartment (2).
Ensure the correct polarity
(+ / –).
4. Place the battery compart-
ment cover on. It must
engage audibly.
5. Insert the lamp head into
the housing and twist it
clockwise to secure it in
place.
Replace the batteries when the power starts to wane.
The battery performance may be severely restricted in
temperatures well below freezing.
Positioning
When positioning the spotlight, bear in mind that the motion
detector only ever works in a dark environment.
Please Note: The spotlight is splashproof (IP65). Nevertheless,
we recommend installing it in a location outdoors where it is pro-
tected from rain to ensure that it works perfectly.
The spotlight can either be attached to the wall with the fastening
material that is supplied or be placed on the bracket (4).
Mounting with fastening material:
1. Detach the bracket from the spotlight by undoing the wing
screw (3).
2. Place the bracket against the wall and mark out three drill
holes.
3. Drill holes into the wall and place dowels in them.
4. Screw the bracket onto the wall.
5. Fix the spotlight on the bracket using the wing screw.
Alignment
The spotlight can be rotated 36on the bracket (4) and be tilted
forwards and backwards.

Undo the locking screw (8) on
the bracket, rotate the spotlight
into the position you want and
x it in place with the locking
screw.
Undo the wing screw (3), tilt the
spotlight to the angle you want
and x it in place with the wing
screw.
Cleaning and Storage
Clean the spotlight with a soft and damp cloth. Then thorough-
ly dry it.
Take the batteries out of the spotlight before it is stored away
in a dry place that is protected from direct sunlight and is out of
the reach of children and animals.
Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
friendly manner so that it can be recycled.
Batteries should be removed before disposing of the prod-
uct and disposed of separately from the product at suitable
collection points.
The product is governed by the European Directive
2012/19/ EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE). Do not dispose of the product as normal domestic
waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via
an offi cially approved waste disposal company.
