Intended Use
• This article is suitable for use as a decorative feature indoors.
• The article is for personal use only and is not intended for
commercial applications.
• The article should only be used as described in these instruc-
tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects
caused by improper handling, damage or unauthorised
attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
Safety Instructions
■ DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock from Water
– Never immerse the article and the USB cable in water or
other liquids and ensure that these components cannot fall
into water or become wet.
– Should the article fall into water, switch off the power supply
immediately. Do not attempt to pull it out of the water while it
is still connected to the mains power!
– Never touch the article and the USB cable with wet hands.
– Disconnect the article from the mains power before
cleaning it!
■ WARNING – Danger of Suffocation! Keep children and
animals away from the packaging material.
■ The article is not a toy!
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■ Use suitable fastening material to hang up the article. If you
are unsure which fastening material is suitable for your wall,
seek advice from a specialist stockist.
■ Before drilling, ensure that there are no pipes or cables behind
the intended drilling point.
■ Do not place or lay any heavy objects on the article.
■ The article should not be operated via a computer, because
the high charging current could damage the computer.
■ Only use suitable USB mains adapters whose technical data is
the same as that of the article.
■ Make sure that the USB cable does not become squashed or
bent and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■ Protect the article from heat, naked fl ames, extreme tempera-
tures, persistent moisture, wet conditions and collisions.
■ The individual LEDs cannot be replaced.
■ Under no circumstances should you use any corrosive or
abrasive cleaning agents or rough sponges to clean the article.
These could damage the surfaces.
■ The article must not be used if it shows obvious signs of dam-
age. Do not take the article apart and do not attempt to repair
it. In the event of any damage, please contact our customer
service department.

Putting into Operation
1. Positioning (Wall Mounting or Setting Up)
– Attach the article at a suitable height on a wall if necessary
using suitable fastening materials (not supplied with the
article).
Make sure you follow the safety instructions for
assembly (see “Safety Instructions”).
– Affi x the article to a smooth surface using the supplied
adhesive pad. This surface must be dry, and free of any dust,
grease or dirt.
– Set up the article on a level, dry surface.
2. Power supply – Connect the USB connector via a suitable
USB mains adapter that supplies at least 1 A (not included
with the article) to a plug socket. The article switches on auto-
matically as soon as it is supplied with power and switches off
when it is disconnected from the mains power.
The music sensor ensures that the light pattern adapts
to the rhythm of the music. The music sensor responds
to a sound frequency from approx. 70 dB.
3. Cleaning – Dust off the article with a soft, dry cloth to clean it.
More intense soiling can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
4. Storage – Store the article in a dry place that is protected from
sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals when
you are not using it.
