• Do not connect the device to extension cords, surge protectors, timers, direct breakers

or a power socket with other appliances connected to the same power socket. Risk of

re, overheating, malfunction, property damage, injury or even death may result if this

instruction is not adhered to!

• Do not use the device outdoors. Exposure to outdoor elements such as rain, snow, sun,

wind, or extreme temperatures may cause the device to become a safety hazard.

• WARNING! DO NOT COVER: Do not allow foreign objects to enter or block any

ventilation, air inlet or exhaust openings and never cover the device with cloths or curtains

or any other material, as this may cause electric shock, overheating, re or damage to the

device.

• Make sure your hands are dry before touching the device or power plug.

• Do not use the device if it has a damaged power plug, or if it has become faulty, has fallen

or become damaged in any way. Deliver the device to the manufacturer or the closest

qualied service centre for inspection or repair.

• Only connect the device to an easily accessible power socket, so you can quickly pull the

plug out of the power socket in case of emergency.

• The device must only be powered by connecting the plug to the power socket.

• Do not use any extension cables or socket strips to power the device.

• When plugging in the power plug, make sure people cannot accidentally pull it out or trip

over it.

• Make sure the power cord cannot be trodden on or pinched.

• When removing the plug from the power socket, pull the plug itself, not the cable.

• Do not allow the power cord to hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects

and naked ames.

• Do not move or store the device until it has cooled down.

• Switch OFF the device and disconnect it from the power socket in case you discover any

faults during use, nd any signs of damage, or if it is not in use or is being cleaned.

• Do not crush, puncture or dismantle the device; this might damage the device.

• Disconnect the device from the power socket during lightning storms or if it will not be

used for long periods of time.

• Do not operate the device using an external time switch or a separate remote control

system.

• Before cleaning the device, always disconnect it from the power socket.

• Do not open the casing as this may result in electric shock.

• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid, to avoid the risk of electric shocks.

Do not touch the device if it has fallen into water. Disconnect the device from the power

socket with the device switched OFF and do not use it again.

• Ensure that the device does not come into contact with heat sources, such as a hot hob

or naked ame.

• WARNING! To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, protect the device from

dripping or splashing water, and keep it away from objects lled with liquids such as vases.

Such objects should not be placed on or near the device.
